my VR won't display

So when i turn on my VR it opens to a the normal screen but then has the green bar as if it's updating or fixing something. then it goes to a grey screen and won't turn off until the battery dies. I've tried asking google, but i didn't get anywhere. So now my VR is factory reset and it still won't show anything. i think i might need to replace it, but i can't with the money my parents have right now. So I'm asking here and seeing if anybody can help me.

You can use the update tool and see if that helps... I don't think it will, but who knows.

Meta Quest software update (en-gb)

Maybe your grey screen is caused by sweat/moisture that found its way into the headset.

In that case, using a hairdryer without heat, like shown in the video, sometimes works.

If that also doesn't work , look for a repair service like "Fix my Oculus" - if you are in the US - or google for a VR headset repair service in your country.
