Question

The top head strap bar on my meta quest 3s broke

The little bar on the top of my 3s that holds the top bar of my head strap broke, I have tried contacting meta support, but there is no option for this problem, so It won't let me request a fix. It is still under warranty and I could attempt to fix this myself, but I don't want to make it worse or void my warranty.

    Mine did too unfortunately. Turned out to be a blessing though. I changed the uncomfortable original for a halo strap that dispenses with the anchor bar, takes pressure off the side arms (which can also break if you're not careful) and gives a far more comfortable experience. Sits better on your head, is more stable, takes the weight off your face, highly recommended. Here's a picture of mine. They're not expensive and if you want get longer play time, you can get one with a battery, though it will cost more.

      I got mine on Ali Express would you believe! It's really great quality. I'm not sure of all the other brands, Bobo is one, so definitely shop around and look at the reviews. You can see the reviews on Ali Express too. I have mine a year and a half now. No problem whatsoever!

        BTW, just be aware, if you send it back for replacement, you will literally be waiting at least 3 months and possibly longer, there are numerous nightmare problems with this on the forum. Getting a replacement and paying a bit more is a win win situation, believe me! 😁
