Question

Vibration not turning off when the slider is all the way down./FIX

I'm a pro gorilla tag player getting affected by this a lot and really need an update to switch this. In my settings in Controllers-Vibration-Intensity, The slider is all the way to the lowest to the left. I go to my game and I feel a vibration it is still happening. This is for everyone because of the dang update and it's annoying me and other people as well. If any developers or any high level people could update and change this gladly. More clarification needed?

Do as steve_40 advises. I don't play Gorilla tag but are there settings inside the game where you can switch off vibration?  Also are you on v2.3 or PTC v2.4? If you're on the latter, you can expect bugs like this.

On further review, in every VR game I play all vibrations are maximum power even though my in quest vibration slider is at 0, so I will not be playing with my VR headset until the issue is resolved, my batteries are worth more money then the headache of stuck max vibration and discomfort :)

Hopefully they'll see your bug report. Are you on PTC 2.5??

    bump

It's been 2 months since this post has been made on the forums, it's the only one I've personally found actually talking about this situation after I looked it up on google, and it seems to be the exact situation I'm in (I'm also on PTC).

Can fully confirm this bug is still ongoing and there seems to be zero way to turn it off other than literally disconnecting the wires to the haptic motors in the controllers, WHICH I DONT SUGGEST YOU DO AS IT CAN VOID YOUR WARRANTY ;) ;), but otherwise I doubt meta will see this issue since nothing's happened yet so far...

Voided5930 There are just users like you here. Keep it polite. There are no Meta staff here. You can report it through the bug reporting tool on your headset. However.......It seems this bug is only happening on Gorilla Tag according to the OP, so it looks like an in game bug. A company called Another Axiom Inc are the developers of this game. Complain to them, Meta likely has no control over that. If you go to your Horizon app, then click on the Gorilla Tag app, scroll right to the end, you will see the website of the game owners and you can complain there.

You are an extremely self entitled person. I gave you some information based on the thread you continued. You are upset nobody replied for 2 months.  You seem to be under the mistaken impression that somehow you are entitled to an answer very promptly. You're not. This is a user only forum,. As I said, we don't work for Meta, we volunteer our time to help as best we can. However, with your attitude, don't expect any more help. Enjoy playing your GT with all the other little kids. 😉

Hi again, I'm not gonna type out a full 3 paragraphs this time, you seem to be making up stuff apparently saying I'm "self entitled" and "not polite" when you're the only one making passive aggressive remarks, yapping about stuff you aren't experiencing first-hand yourself/not understanding, and interpreting chats how you want to interpret them.
I usually try to talk in a polite manner but if you aren't willing to act reasonable nor rational I don't see a point in being "nice" to you, regardless I wasn't acting entitled in any way so y'know, cry harder i guess :| .

bump. I have autism and I cannot stand the haptics vibrations, it causes intense sensory distress for me. it worked on previous horizon OS versions to turn it OFF but I accidentally reset it today and it won't go back... I don't want to have to remove the motors from my controllers to fix this but this is insanely uncomfortable for me.

That's not good. If you find the haptic motors very uncomfortable to use, maybe it's better to remove them as it will be a long term solution for you. Unfortunately Meta updates can be very unpredictable.
