VR has been banned

I need your help with my Meta Quest headset.

My headset suddenly stopped working. The power light turns on, but the display remains completely black, and I cannot use the headset.

I no longer have the original box or the purchase receipt because I threw them away. However, I do have access to my Meta Horizon account that was used with the headset.

The serial number of my headset is: [deleted]

Please let me know if you can verify my ownership using the serial number and my Meta account, and advise me on the next steps to restore access to my headset.

    I don't think, your headset has been banned.

    Accounts can be banned, headsets won't get banned - they might be blacklisted because they were stolen, but in that case you would get a message in the headset.

    Your Quest might be defective, maybe because of sweat that found its way into the headset. This often leads to a black screen.

    Sometimes this can be fixed by using a hairdryer(no heat!) like shown in the video.
