Can’t get past the pairing screen after factory reset on meta quest 2

I’ve reset both the meta quest 2 and my phone. Both are up to date on software. Removed app reinstalled it. Factory reset the quest 2 and still not able to use my VR. It’s stuck on the pairing setup screen. 

I also get this weird error on the app under headset setting.

    Try restarting the app again. Make sure Location Services and Bluetooth are turned on.

      Had the same issue. Luckily, Google AI came to the rescue and offered me this...

       

      If the headset is stuck on the pairing screen, you may need to use the Meta Developer Hub (MDH) on a PC to complete the setup. 

      Steps to Set Up Quest 2 via MDH on PC:

      Preparation: Ensure your Quest 2 is turned on and fully charged.

      Download & Install: Download the MQDH app for Windows from the Meta developer website.

      Log In: Launch the application and sign in with your Meta account (ensure it is the same account used for the headset). 

      Connect Device: Connect your Quest 2 to your PC using a USB-C cable.

      Device Manager: Open the Device Manager tab in the top left of the MQDH application.

      Set Up New Device: In the top-right corner, select Set Up New Device, then follow the on-screen instructions to select your headset.

      Authorize in Headset: Put on the headset and select "Allow" or "Allow USB Debugging" in the pop-up dialogue.

      Enable Developer Mode: Within the Device Manager, ensure "Developer Mode" is toggled on to activate specialized development features.

      I did that and it worked but now when i try to use my quest the time zone is wrong first, my App Library is grayed out, I can’t add another profile to my vr it just says error, I can use the quest link it just says error, and  when I go the devices on the meta app it doesn’t show up but when I’m on the meta app it shows up but just says device connecting.

      So set the correct time zone in headset settings 🤷‍♂️.
