So I pulled out my meta quest 2 headset today and tried playing a game. When I loaded in it was not tracking my controllers. But my controllers were working in the home-screen.I tried restarting my game and everything but it did not work. This is happen with every game and I don’t know what to do. It’s also doing it with hand tracking. It works in the home-screen but not the game. If anyone can help me figure this out I would greatly appreciate it.

This is happening to me, as well.

Quest 2 worked well on Saturday or Sunday (I forget which day). Today (Friday), the controllers do not work in-game. They work in OS, but not in game. Pretty frustrating.

    Fixed it.

I realized that the issue is the new Meta Horizon World app. Not sure when it was installed, but if you open that app and play with it for a minute, then switch apps to whatever game you want to play, the controllers should work. At least, that's how I got Space Pirate Trainer running. Then my son was able to switch to a different game and the controllers are still working. Not sure how it will function after reboot, but it's working normally now.

    Hope this helps someone.

1 - Yes The problem is back today  I turned off the device for the night. I have no idea how to reproduce the problem.

2 - Yes I have the problem today but not yesterday. I turn off the device for the night.

3 - Sure. Here is the log of one of my StereoKit app: https://pastebin.com/tf1mtmp2

The hand tracking is done (in a way) as the menu and occulus buttons appear at the right place.

And with the two controllers in hands, only the right Meta button is working. Events from sticks or menu buttons are not triggered (my app use sticks to move like in Horizon Worlds).

There doesnt seem to be any logical pattern. Once yesterday the controllers wouldnt work within games. I restarted and it was fine. Used this morning and it was way fine. Tried to play again and controllers not working within games again. I went to shut down and got a message saying controllers were disabled. Looks like this is going to be a constant issue
