GPU driver update

Dear Meta Support Team,

After enduring an incredibly frustrating and time-consuming trial and error process, I finally managed to get my Meta Quest 3 connected to my PC, and for a time, everything worked as expected. However, after a seven-month hiatus, I attempted to use the system again today, only to be met with yet another unexpected and infuriating roadblock.

To my dismay, the Meta Quest Link software decided, without warning, that my GPU driver required updating. This is not the case. I have the latest drivers installed for my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, a GPU that is supposedly fully compatible with the Quest 3. Despite multiple attempts to reinstall the Meta Quest Link software, the issue persists.

I am beyond frustrated with this situation. The level of inconvenience, especially after paying a significant amount of money for this product and its overpriced data cable, is simply unacceptable. I expect plug-and-play functionality, not to be stuck in a seemingly endless loop of technical issues. It’s deeply disappointing that after such a long period of use and investment, I’m still struggling to make this system work properly.

I am not a technical expert, and frankly, I am not interested in spending hours navigating endless troubleshooting chats to resolve an issue that shouldn't exist in the first place. My patience is wearing thin, and I am rapidly losing confidence in Meta's products and support.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue quickly, without the need for further delays or convoluted technical steps. If there is anyone who can help, it would be much appreciated.

Sincerely,
Jan H

Which exactly version? The link doesn't work.

I have the same issue with "GeForce Game Ready Driver" of version 610.47 installed, while Meta Horizon Link says "The driver on your NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU graphics card are out of date. Please upgrade to driver v531.61.".

P.S. I'll try to install exactly 531.61, but would like to have as recent version as possible.

I tried version 581.42, which is the oldest driver available in the list on the official site for my GPU, and it didn't work either.

Another nuance that might be useful, in the Device Manager, the version of the driver is displayed as 32.0.15.8142, which seems to be Windows-specific version of the same driver (the last 5 digits correspond to the version of the original driver. When I was talking with Gemini about this, it wrote that Meta Horizon Link might incorrectly handle this version format, and outputs the error because 32 < 531.
