Horizon link not working

My Q3 was linking fine to my PC this afternoon, then literally an hour or two later, will not link.

I'm using a usb 3.0 cable, it is in a USB 3 port, power management of USB port is set correctly.

I get a notification saying 'Meta Quest Link isn't working correctly. Click here to check our support article'.

There is no support article.

I have restarted the headset and PC, repaired the Horizon app, logged out and back into the Horizon app, restarted the OVR service and I still can't get it to work.

Anyone else having or had similar issues recently?

Horizon software 83.0.0.333.349

Headset V83.1034 build 5156385.14650.520

Grateful for any ideas.

It seems like META has some kind of verification/credentials server down, so there is an step of the Meta Link that it's not working. That's why you can enter to the Meta Link Dashboard without internet active on the PC, but Windows do not detect the headset as connected, so the VR games can't run in VR mode. Very messy stuff.

Yeah same here. Was this a recent update? Mine was working completely fine 2 days ago and now I would get stuck on the pc link loading screen while trying to launch it. I also get the exact same hardware notification. Current workaround is disabling wifi before launching pc link as another user has mentioned.

Same. Tried through both air link and cable link but everytime it just hangs on the loading screen and I get a notification on my PC that link isnt working and no amount of restarting or reinstalling Link seems to have helped. Dunno if they pushed an update recently but now it just seems to be completely nonfunctional

Exact same issues for me. Will not connect for love or money. Tried turning headset and PC off and on, tried logging out of the app, tried unplugging and replugging. No change. Some new update seems to have completely broken Meta Horizon Link.

Alright. Long story short here we go.

Quest Pro and Quest 3.

Will not load into the meta app and gets stuck on the three dots of death.

If you try the internet bypass it will work but the problem then pops up where if you try to run an online game after reconnecting to the internet it will kick you back out and put you back at square one.

Meta claims they are aware and are working on a fix but for right now there are no official statements from them on this.

Link Cable, AirLink, and Steamvr will not work.

Guess this was inevitable. Been seeing a lot of people having issues with Meta link.  I thought i was lucky until My Q3 just Lagged out mid game. Only way i can play is through virtual desktop which is OK until it lags out as well.
