Horizon link not working

My Q3 was linking fine to my PC this afternoon, then literally an hour or two later, will not link.

I'm using a usb 3.0 cable, it is in a USB 3 port, power management of USB port is set correctly.

I get a notification saying 'Meta Quest Link isn't working correctly. Click here to check our support article'.

There is no support article.

I have restarted the headset and PC, repaired the Horizon app, logged out and back into the Horizon app, restarted the OVR service and I still can't get it to work.

Anyone else having or had similar issues recently?

Horizon software 83.0.0.333.349

Headset V83.1034 build 5156385.14650.520

Grateful for any ideas.

Same issue, Meta couldn't care less about the link, so they never check when an update breaks it.

Just spoke to their support. They are aware and currently working on a fix,

Blocking outbound traffic for OculusDash.exe did the trick for me.

THANK YOU.....this worked perfectly. Like everyone else that had this problem I was tearing my hair out for a solution. I deleted the meta app and reinstalled (had to reinstall all my apps), reset my headset to factory settings and wasted a night stuffing around with it and you gave my solution that worked first time..

I found a temporary workaround. Before starting link, disconnect your PC from the internet. Then launch oculus link, should load right up, the reconnect your PC to the internet. This will work up until you need to unplug your headset. This is a workaround that works for me personally give it a shot may work for you too.

Easy fix for now if your using a link cable

Disconnect your internet

startup the link in your headset

when link is open and your in the white space connect back to your internet you should be able to connect to steam.
