So i had to reset my Meta Quest 3 and delete the registration. Now i will add the Quest 3 in my user account but i cant. I need the rma Code or any bill. How is possible without? I connect the quest3 with meta horizon successfully. thanks for helping. The quest3 is now 3 years old and out of support.
I own a Meta Quest 2I am having horizon link issues and a possible fix I read about was doing a factory reset and reconnecting my device. After performing the factory reset, the headset can no longer be paired to my account. Now finding this forum i see a lot of people are having connectivity issues but i put myself further away. Meta systems show:- No devices associated with my Meta account- Serial number starting with 1WMM returns “device not found”- Meta Quest mobile app throws GraphQLError 1675012(OCDeviceProfilesManagerSurfaceQuery – Device ID must be specified)The Meta support website blocks ticket creation because there is no device record. This appears to be a backend device desynchronization / orphaned device issue. I am the first and only owner of this device.Requesting Meta staff escalation for manual backend device reassociation or resolution.
Dear Support,I know several people report the same problem: I am trying to connect to my PC using Meta Quest Link. Remote desktop does work properly, but when I try to enable Link, I get nothing but the black screen with Meta logo and three dots. I have tried connecting using both AirLink and via cable, same result. PC connected by ethernet cable. I have checked the PC requirements and I think I meet them all, but perhaps laptops don't work as well with Link? What I have:1. Meta Quest 3 headset (all updated)2. Meta Quest Link app installed and updated3. PC drivers all updated.4. Hardware: (it's a gaming laptop)AMD Ryzen 7 5800 CPUNvidia GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU32GB DDR4 RamWindows 11USB 3.1 ports, new USB-3 cables, etc. I appreciate any help you can give.Kind regards,Jeremy
I bought a Quest 3, a couple of days ago, it initially worked ok. But I wanted to get the best out of it, so I gave ChatGPT all my PC/GPU/Game and play information, of which I updated all the various settings, until I broke the PC Link, after 8 hours of trouble shooting/multiple reinstalls. I eventually found the one setting out of nearly 200 that resolved my issue.I found out that the Purple Sky PCVR Link loading screen gets stuck/locked/frozen if you have used the Oculus Debug Tool and set the Encode Bitrate (Mbps) too high (I can use 940, but NOT 1000, my cable tests at 2.9Gbps)! To test, set it to 0 (auto), use the Service menu to Restart Oculus Service, wait 2 mins and try the link again. Note: Restarting the Oculus Service this way kicks you out of the Purple Sky PCVR Link loading screen.Happy VR'ing!
I really need help with my PC I don't know if I supposed to have a gaming computer or a gaming laptop but I'm using a regular laptop to connect my Oculus and won't connect I'm using a USB type c to connect to my PC but it won't connect
I've been using the Quest 3 for almost 8 months now, and before i used the Quest 2 without any problems via Air link/same router/same PC... This Saturday I'm playing Borderland 2 VR and on Monday the Quest 3 can no longer connect to the PC without any reason. If I want to activate Air Link via the Q3, my PC is displayed in the Air Link Menü as before, but the Start Button for Air Link remains gray and it says "not connected". I've already tried everything:Hard reseting the Headset, factory reset, router reset, PC & Quest 3 reset, Meta Quest Link restart via the beta menu in the PC Oculus APP, repair function of the Meta Quest APP, firewall completely switched off but nothing... Then I read that you should completely delete the Oculus software with all folders and reinstall it.I did that and lo and behold it worked, for exactly ONE day.... When I booted up my PC today and started Quest 3, the same problem...The PC is displayed but the start button to start Air Link remains gray and
Hi,I have three products that were supposed to launch on December 1, and all three are dead in the water, waiting on a fix for the Meta Link v83 bugs. The headset update to v83 did not fix any of my issues on any system, Nvidia or AMD, on any of three PCs I've tested on. I switched headsets, cables, and did full uninstall / reinstall cycle. If I start with a basic Unity app and add the All-In-One SDK, it flat out refuses to work with even the most basic OVRCameraRig setup. I don't know how this isn't plaguing everyone else. But I need to ship these products. Is it possible for me to download and use an older version of Meta Link ?Does Meta have pre-release versions of Meta XR All-in-One SDK ? The official one is still v81. That might be the silver bullet. Thank you,-Chilton
Hello,I’m having an issue with my Meta Quest 2 after a factory reset and I’m looking for possible solutions.Details:The headset powers on normally but cannot complete pairing with the Meta Horizon mobile app.The app shows the headset as already paired, even though it is not.Attempting to remove other profiles shows error code 1675012.I tried pairing on both an iPhone and a separate Android phone, but the problem persists.Multiple factory resets, app reinstalls, and different networks did not resolve the issue.Checking devices on meta.com shows no devices associated with my account.Has anyone experienced this and found a way to resolve it? Any guidance on how to clear the pairing issue would be appreciated.Thank you.
I am trying to connect my Meta Quest 3 to the Meta Horizon app on my phone, but I cant get it to pair. Headset doesnt connect I dont know why am doing everything right. When i click to Manage profiles, I get this GraphQL error. I’ve tried multiple times but keep running into the same issue. I reinstalled the app like 500 times.
Because the app would not detect my meta quest pro even when I connected it using the provided USB C cable or Air link. My specs are Intel i7-13700H, NVDA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, 16 GB Memory.

Eventually the session drops or returns to the headset home. This is not a USB issue, not a network issue, and not a headset pairing issue.Important factsSame hardware and setup working for ~4 monthsWorked earlier todayNo hardware changeNo Windows reinstallNo BIOS changeNo GPU changeWhat I already triedReinstalled Meta Quest Link multiple timesFactory reset the Quest 3Removed all Oculus / Meta registry entriesClean GPU driver reinstall with DDUDowngraded NVIDIA driverTested both Air Link and USB LinkRepair installationRestarted all Meta/Oculus servicesReconfigured the headset from scra
So, a brand new Quest 3. Wouyld not pair out the box. Now stuck in endless update loop (5 hours) where it says applying update and then restarts...and then does so again and again. Quest is plugged in. I have factory reset 3 times and every time same happens. The online solution is to connect to a PC. But I have a mac and there is no solution online to solve this utter fiasco. What a pile of sheet.
We recently purchased a Meta Quest Pro. When we attempted to connect the headset to a PC using the USB-C cable included with the Meta Quest package, the device was not detected. We then tried a different USB-C cable, and the headset was recognized; however, a message appeared stating “Use USB 3 for a better connection.” We connected the headset using a USB 3 port, but the device was not detected. We also have issues with pairing the device. Could you please help us with these issues? Looking forward to hear back from you soon,
I just spent 5 hours trying to link my new 3s to the Horizon app and tried everything possible that was recommended on line. Someone told me there was a post on here earlier today about this issue in which Meta acknowledges they are aware of the issue and are working on fixing it. Anyone else try to connect a new one today? Any issues?
Hello,Quest 3 feedback suggestion:Allow option for internal speakers to work with 3.5mm or bluetooth headphones connected. Reason:For devices such as the Woojer haptic feedback vests, straps or subwoofers, you cannot use the built in speakers due to connecting these either via the 3.5mm jack or bluetooth. Adding this as an option would not hurt anything, heck you could even add a pop-up to note that this setting has been changed and where to find it each time something is connected.Advantage:There would then be no need to use additional headphones when wearing a haptic vest, haptic strap or when using a subwoofer. Headphones can be cumbersome or not even possible to use with most VR headstraps. Many thanks for listening.
Connected to Internet Connection on Meta Quest 3S but when I join a game it says 'Check your network and try again'When I join like animal company / gorrila tag it's failing to connect to a game. Can you fix this meta? How do I fix this? I don't want to Factory Reset. My headset is right now connected to Wi-Fi but can't play games like online games (multiplayer games)Note: I used another wifi to connect to my VR but it still dose not work it's my VR that is causing the problem.
I have been locked out from my Quest 2 for more that a week. I created a pattern when I was tired so I forgot it when I went to bed and woke up and forgot every day after school I have been trying to reset it I try to connect my phone to the headset and click unlock pattern but still I need to put my pattern in to connect it and as said before I forgot it and can connect and reset it. Is there another solution that I could use and response is very helpful at this point. Also I looked up oculus support and other videos one youtube which is most likely the worst place to go. This and contacting someone is all I have left at this point.
hey im from india i have meta quest 3 update stuck and cant finish update
Hi everyone, I was using my Quest 3S normally last night and turned it off. Today when I tried to use it again, it started blinking a red light while connected to the charger. I unplugged it from the power outlet and plugged it back in, and after that the headset never turned on again. Now there is no light at all. It does not charge and does not turn on. The device is less than 1 month old and was bought brand new from Amazon. Has anyone experienced this issue?I FROM BRAZIL
Hello, i bought this 3S and today I charged it up, turned it on, Hooked it to my wifi/internet And then it 'updated' and now it says to pair to meta horizon app, even gives a 5 digit code. I hooked it to my PC and tried to 'pair' it and nothing, it shows up on my link under devices but nothing, doesn't even ask for the code or anything. I tried to brig up menu with the meta button on my right controller, it shoes it loading then nothing, no menu or anything. I tried a reset, hard reset and even a factory reset, nothing still the same thing, is there something I am missing? and why is it impossible to get a live agent to help, that one has me thinking META should be sued and boycotted.
Even with the latest update that assured us that it was now fixed, I still can't connect via link. It no longer stays in an endless loop with the meta logo and the 3 dots below it, however when it dips down to the next part it turns black and completely freezes. Has anyone else had this problem that has found a solution? So far I've tried a complete factory reset on my quest 3, uninstalled and reinstalled the meta horizon link app, tried disabling both my ethernet connection and wifi on the quest, and blocking the inbound and outbound firewall exceptions. Nothing has worked for me, and I'm out of ideas.
Helloim having an issue since yesterday there is a message that appears constantlyservices mobile device core has systematically stopped workingI also have system ux stopped working some times i have no idea why. I did 2 factory reset and issues are still occurring, firmware is updated to latest, my Oculus quest 1 is literally unusable at the moment. i was able to play games yesterday but i tried to mirror the headset to phone using Meta horizon app, on the app it would just load indefinitely. Helloi am using a metaquest3 every time when i power it up the message wil pop up some thing wentwrong cannot join can some one tell me wats going on this message has been now for a 3 weeks
I’m starting this discussion because I’ve seen multiple people trying to get the same performance from an off-brand cable that does not provide fibre optic connectivity versus the Meta Quest official link cable that does. There is a absolute reason as to why the Official cable is worth more than a video game right now.I guarantee if you use the meta quest 3 ( I do right now), you will benefit from the official cable more than the off brand. The official cable also uses USB-C to USB-C and not USB to USB-C which indicates better bitrate capabilities.I do have a beefy computer so results may vary based on your individual computer specs but my computer utilized the official cable much better. (7900xtx graphics card)Try out the official cable if you think that your experience is limited because you didn’t buy the actual cable meta recommends.Meta does not provide a USB to USB-C official cable and you can wonder why now.Hope this post helps anyone that has enough money to upgrade and wants bet
I realize this sounds like a cable issue but I tested with multiple cables and the same thing happens. Things were working fine until the last update (the update that fixed the last update). Meta Link does boot up, but it then*very easily* crashes (disconnects). Yea I realize it could still be a hardware issue but I'm hoping not, i can't afford a new one. Is anyone else noticing this?
