Question

Quest 2 cannot pair after factory reset – error 1675012

Hello,

I’m having an issue with my Meta Quest 2 after a factory reset and I’m looking for possible solutions.

Details:

  • The headset powers on normally but cannot complete pairing with the Meta Horizon mobile app.
  • The app shows the headset as already paired, even though it is not.
  • Attempting to remove other profiles shows error code 1675012.
  • I tried pairing on both an iPhone and a separate Android phone, but the problem persists.
  • Multiple factory resets, app reinstalls, and different networks did not resolve the issue.
  • Checking devices on meta.com shows no devices associated with my account.

Has anyone experienced this and found a way to resolve it? Any guidance on how to clear the pairing issue would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi PandoraTMR 🙂

Maybe the solution in this thread can help:

Hi there, I don't really understand OP's solution there in the discussion.
How did they get access to their Bluetooth settings? I'm currently stuck on the pairing page.

Hm, after rereading the solution, it seems he could connect the headset to another phone and then went to the bluetooth settings...... but you already tried that without success.🙁

Probably this wont work either but you can try:
