just tried to link headset with internet connected now get a static crackle through the headset and still no conection to meta horizon what ever you did in your last updates has slowed conection speed of vr headset in game ie from desktop to VR it used to be istant now it takes approx 15 seconds who ever is doing the updates is making things worse
I'm a Quest3 application developer on Unity. I'm developing my application using Unity. I streamed my Quest to the computer using Meta Horizon Link + streaming cable, and then clicked "Run with Unity" to start my project. At this point, Quest didn't succeed, but I could still see the Unity editor. Theoretically, it should have entered my VR application, but it seems that it didn't start successfully. However, when I unchecked the Meta XR Feature in open xr setting, Unity Editor run this application normally, but all the Meta XR functions were lost. The screen moves along with my head (head tracking fails), and it cannot detect any controllers or gestures. The software version of my Quest 3 is v0.83. The version of Meta Horizo n Link is 0.83/0.85 (both versions have been tested and the phenomenon is the same), and the version of Meta XR SDK has also been tested (0.83, 0.77, 0.76, 0.74). What caused this?I used the official sample scenario. I repeatedly checked all the configurations of U
Like a huge number of you, yesterday the Link between the Quest 3 (and probably 1 and 2 also) will NOT connect to the Meta Horizon Link running on my Windows PC. So, the ability to do PCVR from ones headset is gone. Apparently, this was broken by Meta sometime in the last 24 hours. But if you have Virtual Desktop, which uses its own form of linkage, IT STILL WORKS, and you can continue doing PCVR through it! (Not a commercial for Virtual Desktop, I just happen to already have it and use it for Flight Simulations which require a high level of performance in PCVR). It is a stunning failure that in 24 hours a company that has sold MILLIONS of these VR headsets can completely destroy the ability to use them for PCVR! How does a failure of software development, testing, and deployment get inflicted on the ENTIRE (Meta) WORLD of PCVR in ONE day?Yeah, I know that Meta will fix this fairly quickly, but some of us use these headsets in a work environment. And those HOURS spent yesterda
I have a oculus quest 2 with a gaming pc everything was working fine until this recent update and now I'm back to square one sadly, I have tried the most recent solution of blocking the oculusdash.exe and also trying the other recent solution that involves turning off your Wifi for the pc and oculus and then switch on again and nothing is working but a very slow loading/connecting page on my oculus screen,,
i have problems with Q3 like every 2 months and every time different issue and every time after ur updates:) very nice job... it was like tracking issues and stuff... and now im stuck in the link connecting screen (for cable and air too)... i tried new drivers, new cable, different USB, ur special tactic with deleting every trace of data from PC and reinstalling app, factory reset of headset, another tactic from redit restarting and changing oculus vr runtime service to manual, tried that shmaxy thing with sideload update and nothing works...+i purchased ur product with intent of using it not for me to troubleshoot after every few updates cause of ur fakaps... i want to use my property:) Q2 works normally how is that possible?

After having a failing discussion with the meta support ai I’ve turned to the community. My left controller is charged 100% and won’t work with my meta quest three and neither of the controllers batteries will slide out after I’ve watched countless videos about it. I’m not sure what to do with my left controller as I’ve had it for only a year and the right one works fine. This randomly happened and I keep amazing care of it.
headset wont connect to pc via a link cable. i press enable link and headset gets stuck on meta logo sign. cant see my pc home screen.
I've seen a few posts on this, hoping another will help push this to the devs to get a fix out asap - since last time meta bricked the cable link, it was down for 2 whole weeks. I have done everything meta can and will recommend. All my drivers are up to day, my headset and link app both up to date, both restarted, reinstalled the link app, etc etc. Meta. fix your updates.

This looks to be an issue on Meta Side."Disable your PC's internet connection before launching Link. It should start fine and then you can reenable your connection."Link for referenceQuest Link Infinite Loading WORKAROUND : r/oculusI can confirm this is working, hopefully this will be fixed soon
When trying to connect horizon link with airlink, loading is keep going over and over, never end.First of all , i stated to observe task manager.and i found the OCULUS-DASH.exe process was keep shutting down, whenever start link to horizon. Here is the Oculus Dash Log2026-01-19T17:24:28.866133 [I]: C:\Program Files\Meta Horizon\Support\oculus-dash\dash\bin\OculusDash.exe startup:2026-01-19T17:24:28.867130 [W]: Invalid prop name: oculus.signalFenceInDX2026-01-19T17:24:28.868127 [W]: Invalid prop name: oculus.signalFenceInDXEarly2026-01-19T17:24:28.868127 [W]: Invalid prop name: debug.saveLogToMiniDump2026-01-19T17:24:28.868127 [I]: CLAYLOG - Entering App::run2026-01-19T17:24:28.868127 [I]: LOGFILE: C:/Users/PC/AppData/LocalLow/Oculus/Dash/log/Dash.log2026-01-19T17:24:28.893061 [I]: App::run isVRMode m_windowShouldClose 02026-01-19T17:24:28.893061 [I]: OculusUtil::_init()2026-01-19T17:24:29.478517 [I]: OculusUtil::_initHMD()2026-01-19T17:24:29.478517 [I]: HMD: Oculus Quest2 (FW -11901.0)2
meta needs to lock in bruh, link hasn't been working all day and no matter what trouble shooting i do it still doesn't work. I'm guessing this is a meta problem cause I've changed nothing on my pc, it was working perfectly fine yesterday.
I connected my Quest 3 headset using AirLink and played Blade & Sorcery on my PC, but the next day I couldn't connect. I fiddled with it and managed to reconnect somehow, but the following day I couldn't connect again.I'm seeing messages like 'Headset not found' or 'Could not pair'.I'd appreciate any help you can offer.
Hi, I found a temporary workaround for Horizon Link not connecting. If you urgently need it for development like I do, try the steps below while we wait for Meta to fix the issue.Workaround (worked for me — both USB-C Link and Air Link were failing):Disconnect your PC from the internet (disable Wi-Fi / unplug Ethernet).Navigate to:C:\Program Files\Meta Horizon\Support\oculus-client\Launch client.exe manually (do NOT use the desktop shortcut / Fixer.exe).After starting it this way, Horizon Link connects successfully.(Optional) Reconnect the internet after the connection is established.Summary: If Horizon Link suddenly stops working, try starting it offline and run client.exe directly from the install folder.
AirLink was working fine until yesterday, but suddenly stopped working.I reset Quest 3 to factory settings and reinstalled Windows 11.Wired AirLink works fine. But Wi-Fi AirLink doesn't.Virtual Desktop and Steam Link work fine, but AirLink is the only one not working. When I try to connect to AirLink on Quest 3, it crashes to the home screen and won't connect. # Symptoms1. Activate AirLink in the PC Meta Horizon app, activate VR AirLink2. Three dots appear, entering the AirLink loading screen3. VR immediately returns to the Quest 3 lobby3-1. A "Headset not found" notification pops up in the bottom right corner of the PC3-2. VR connection is briefly disconnected and then reconnected in the PC Meta Horizon app3-3. Occasionally, a message appears saying, "Your session has expired. Please check your headset's network connection and try again."
I'm having an issue with Passthrough since the latest Horizon app update. Quest 3 running v83.1034. Issue only manifests in Passthrough running on Meta Horizon Link 83.0.0.311.349) Using Unity 6.0 for testing but it affects all passthrough apps that I've made. Computer has an NVIDIA gpu.Objects in passthrough apps have an upward offset duplicate that resembles a drop shadow. I've made a mockup to demonstrate what it looks like through the lenses. That "drop shadow" doesn't quite follow the 3D objects, either, so if I turn my head it becomes slightly different in its offset. This happens with brand new projects in the demos, and it also happens with older software written in Unity 2022. I've tried a variety of the plugins in Unity, too, and it happens in every one. It did not happen prior to the Meta Quest Link update, though. If passthrough is off, this does not happen. A 3D scene has no weird drop shadow type things. On apps I built previously, which did not used to have this problem, al
I am very disappointed that I cannot cast my kid while they’re on VR, this is the opposite of keeping kids safe. My agreement with my kid was whenever they play VR I need to see the screen and cast to the tv for their safety. Removing that functionality makes it less safe for kids and I’m debating on sending it back. Please add this as a feature that the parent can cast their kids screen to the tv.
hey so I've been having this problem for the past week... my phone works just fine my computer is the problem mainly. but I've been getting graphics card not compatible with device but when looking up everything works completely fine. I'm slowly loosing patience from this problem and I'm also on the verge of giving up on it as well. if anyone know what's going on that would be great I've put everything down with the problem as well. oh and steam VR doesn't work as well. but i did manage to get it connected once with a USB cable but after that nothing
Every update recently has made the headset unusable.STUPID.WHY WOULD YOU DROP AN UPDATE ON A WEEKEND WITH NO SUPPORT OR DEVS AVAILABLE.DUMBDUMBDUMB
Our Quest 2 got stuck in the Logo screen boot loop and we tried several things but it persisted. Performed a factory reset via the headset. Upon restart everything was fine until it came time to pair the headset. My Meta Horizon app still shows the headset, but the Headset settings are greyed out on its page and the little icon to right switches between loading and an orange “ ! Alert triangle.” Upon trying to connecting to the headset to the app via its code, yields no results. The status indicator under under headsets battery status also switches between it (connecting) and (Headset Not Connected) I have searched through here and several other places to find a solution and while it sounds fairly common I cannot get anything to work. I have reset the headset numerous times, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, turned my phone on and off. Nothing seems to help. On the Meta browser page for my devices I did notice that this headset is no longer the
Even with my headset and computer completely disconnected from the internet the PC link does not work. Stop telling everyone it's their fault. Gutted valuable developers, local only link bricked, likely abandoning Quest 4. Any future Meta product is almost certainly off the table for me at this point, hope your stock bricks in the same fashion.... Shameful... faceless... facebook.
