For the past few months, I have had issues with the Meta Quest Link software, Cable link, and Air link and have found no solution to my issue on any forums or help posts. When I open the software on my laptop (Asus ROG Zephyrus 16 2024), I see the Meta logo and a loading wheel. 9/10 times, the software won't go any further and will just sit on this screen. To close it, I have to end the task in the task manager. If it does open, I will go into my headset, enable the air link, select my laptop, the quest link starts, and then immediately crashes and says there is a connection issue to ensure my laptop is turned on and connected to the network. After that, my laptop will show in the in-headset menu, but I cannot select it and get the same connection error message without even attempting to open it. So far, I have tried the following: Uninstalling and reinstalling Quest link software (about seven times now) Restarting the app in Beta settings (which rarely works) I am an XR design
I just got a metaquest 3 headset replacement but it was only the headset that had problems so it did not come with replacement controllers considering I already had good controllers. But the headset is forcing me to connect controllers to continue the setup but I can't connect the controllers without the headset either being already set up or connected to the mobile app which I can't set it up yet cuz no controls are already connected and I can't use the mobile app until it gets set up which I can't. So I don't know what to do
Please help, I cant get my controllers to work properly, I've put in new batteries, I've un paired them, then re paired, it says success but still don't work, they move about but won't click on to a game, wen I use fingers it says use controllers then press continue but it doesn't allow me to continue.. now I'm stumped
When i was playing beat saber i beat my left controller with the right one and it went crazy.Help me pleasehttps://youtube.com/shorts/-LH6hCKr7SY?feature=share

Quest 2 keeps dropping WifiIt's been a couple of weeks and HOURS of google searching and experimenting and it persist.I haven't timed it but it happens consistently every 5 minutes or so. Just long enough for me to load a game and join a server.Steps I have tried:Separate the 2.4ghz and 5ghz into different SSIDsRestart the WifiRestart the QuestEnable the Experimental feature option Disable Wifi refresh in the settings.Verbally degrading the hardware and threatening to replace itCreating a Voodoo doll of Zuckerberg with hair clippings bought off ebayWringing my hands in desperate anguish and screaming into the void.I have an ATT fiber router that's a foot away in the same room with clear line of sight.I have tried using different bands, 40/80/126Please help. It's useless like this.
Its sits on a blue light not flashing i can charge it but every time i try turning it on it sits on blue or i factory reset the controller still blue even unpairing the controller i cant even re pair it because it just sits on blue no wonder why people say not to buy these controllers its a waste of 300 bucks i even had troubles with it before this happened like not tracking i would have to turn them off and on about 20 times before even one would work
I have the Quest 3 the airlink drops and the usb cable drops connection it shows the headset is connected but i get nothing, the device worked for a few days and then nothing but signal drops, I have a good cable, windows 11, new computer 32Gb of memory, gigs of space on the drive high end graphic card, drives up to date, but it will not stay connected.Anyone else having this issue, i have rebooted, and rebooted, shut down start up, connect disconnect, Airlink and then USB cable it makes no difference the connection just drops.GPU 5%, CPU 3% it is barely any load on the system. Not too happy with this device.
Is there a way to make this work? Laptop is best of best stuff, 12 gen I7, 64 Ram, 128MB Intel Iris XE graphics.
I was wandering if it is in the works to get the pro controllers to work with the 3s, Or if there is a way to get it to work with the 3s now? I had to warranty my left controller and the warranty prosses leaves the quest owner not able to use there head set.
What organization are you supposed to hook it to? This makes no sense.
Hello, In the Meta Quest app under “My Devices,” I see multiple Quest 3 headsets. Some of them are not linked to my account — they are just nearby devices. The app does not have an option to “Remove” or “Forget Device.” Even after performing a factory reset on a headset, it still appears in the list. I need only one main headset to remain in the list, and the others to disappear. This causes issues when launching games and creates confusion, especially since I use multiple sets for a VR arcade. Could you please advise if there is a way to remove these extra devices manually, or is it possible to request device removal through support? Thank you!
i need help fixing this im new on meta quest 3s and i dont know why its doing this pls help its show me this 1. "It looks like there is no account associated with it yet."2. "You must use the account that the organization provided to you." how do i fix this two pls help me
My Meta Quest Virtual Desktop is connected to my Mac but not mirroring. I have ensured both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, and I am running macOS Sequoia 15.6 (24G84).Thanks to anyone who responds!
As the title reads, I’ve been experiencing an issue that’s been persisting for nearly 2 YEARS. I did some research on the issue, found a Reddit forum about it all, and saw the instructions list that the people from meta provided. I tried every single one of them and nothing has changed at all. It wasn’t till maybe a week ago that this has started, and I’m a little (a lottla) annoyed that this issue is persisting for something I’ve spent nearly $600 on.
Hi there. For some weeks, the Quest/PC link had stopped working for me, with the link app hanging at various stages on the PC and in the headset. That was frustrating, because it had worked before. Just today I found the culprit may be a network security change at my work location. On the surface, the change results in a rather slow start of the (wired) network connection, when booting up the PC.Now, it seems that the network behaviour leaves the Oculus Windows service in a broken, unrecoverable state. The solution was to set the Oculus service start type to "manual" and only start the service after the network connection is fully up and running.I find it very troublesome that the link software never indicated any such problems (except from being unresponsive in general). This occured at least with the last three versions, the currently installed on being "Meta Quest Link-App 79.0.0.1094.381". Regards
I just bought this Quest used and I've spent a whole 3 hours trying to get this to work but I just can't. I've been having a weird string of issues. It will not connect via link cable (though I don't have an actual link cable but just a regular 10 ft type c to type c cable, so that could be my issue on that part) though when I plugged it into my computer, I accidentally clicked "import images" when the command pops up, so now whenever I try to plug it in, it immediately opens up the pictures app on my laptop. Then, I got airlink to work once, but it was extremely bugged and I had to restart my oculus because it ended up freezing, and it wouldn't connect again. Then I got a red pop up in the desktop app that said my PCs hardware was incompatible, but I know for a fact it was because I checked the compatibility page, so I closed the app and reopened it and that pop up was gone.I am honestly stumped at this point, My Quest 2 is updated to the newest software, and my laptop is fully up
When I was setting up the network, it required a login verification. But when I opened the login page, it said the time wasn't updated, so I couldn't access the website. Then I clicked the option saying the network was already set up. I didn't know how to update the date, and somehow it went into an update screen. Now it seems to be updating even without internet. It's been stuck on 'estimating update time' for a long while with no change. How can I cancel this? I've tried shutting down and restarting, but it still goes back to the update screen after rebooting.
Initial setup on headset gets to "connect to wifi" and cannot. States date/time is off. Will not allow me to enter or modify URL at top of screen. My wifi is not managed by me and requires a browser portal to login and that works on all devices I own with only an issue on LG IOS.Tried QR code and instructions state to use "Meta Horizon app" to create a QR butdo not see where to do this in app and help section says nothing about how. Tried using Oculus to setup headset and there is no option and it just states "connected to usb"My laptop and phone are both connected to same wifi network. Extremely irritated when instructs say "do this" with absolutely no instruction to accomplish thatIf i don't get some tech support, back to the store it goesThanks for your timeThomas
I came home from a trip hoping to play vr, but when I try to connect to the WiFi it says connected and can’t provide internet. I check the settings it says i have excellent signal strength. I tried my hotspot and it won’t provide internet either, so I know something wrong with my headset. I went to look on the forums and it said I should cloud backup my stuff and factory reset my headset, but it won’t let cloud backup without internet. What should I do?
I'm locked out of all of my accounts have been since Monday I can't get a hold of anyone no one is responding and this is really irritating. I should not be locked out of something that I purchased I should not be locked out of my games that I purchased if you all don't want me on Instagram then take that account away I don't care cuz it's not that serious but as far as my Oculus you guys are wrong all the way around I can't even use it I don't know how to get back in it I don't know how to reset it because I keep getting this eight letter code to put in my phone but it doesn't pull up so I would like you all to unlock my account and let me back in or refund my money
I've fully linked it using air link and I can even go into the pc link but when I try to play any games it says no headset is connected on my pc. All drivers are up to date and the headset is fully updated
