Update 2024: It has been fixed for me and steam link now works even with older AMD drivers. It work very well even, I prefer to use it over airlink or Virtual Desktop. Steam link is not working for me. I have steam open, when I click "connect" on my headset steam link app I get "host not responding" error 200. When I start SteamVR on my PC manually first, then click "connect" on my steam link app in the headset I get a window saying "Stream initializing", "Connecting to host PC is taking longer than usual..."The app tells me the headset is paired, airlink is working fine. Does anyone else have issues?
I recently got a quest 2 and set it up with no problem but now when I try to pair it with the oculus app it either gets stuck on the paring screen or it says unable to pair and gives a list of troubleshooting Ideas and I've tried all of them. I've also tried factory resetting my headset and nothing seems to be working, so does anybody know what the problem would be?
I have just purchased a oculus quest 2 and am trying to cast to my LG smart TV.. It have screen share miracast but the oculus can't find the TV.. Help!!
I'm attempting air link. I meet all the PC requirements. I have the Meta quest 2 connected on a 5 GHz Wi-Fi and the PC is connected through a functional ethernet cable directly to the router... I am however using a Google mesh system, I know that that can apparently make things difficult, but it was never stated it would be impossible. My issue is that even though my computer is clearly connected to the internet with an ethernet cable that functions and allows for PC gaming with all other mediums. When I try the air link it says that one of my missing requirements isn't ethernet connection? The quest link does work with the cable but again still runs into those missing requirements when attempted to be paired with the PC. Any and all help would be appreciated.
I have a very frustrating problem. I have been using a Link cable and sometimes Airlink with my Quest 2 for months. Recently, the controllers (which work fine normally when playing Quest games) have developed a strange quirk when playing PC games. I can no longer extend my index fingers or thumbs. I can grip but when I lift my real index fingers and/or thumbs, the virtual ones don't extend. This happens with Link cable and Air Link, so it's not the cable. I have tested this with two Quest 2 headsets (with two sets of controllers), on Link cable (with two separate cables) and with Air Link. Mine aren't working in the Oculus Home environment. Perhaps it has something to do with a recent update but then I would expect more people to be reporting this issue but others, including Nera123, Sotalo and Arkiefox, have also reported this problem recently in this forum. My Oculus app (on PC): Oculus app version 40.0.0.105.333 (40.0.0.105.333) I recently bought Lone Echo II. One of the first thing
I browsed the forum & didn't see my question addressed anywhere, so I apologize if it's already been answered. Is there a way to play VRvideo files on my PC by streaming them through the link cable to my Quest 2? I know I can transfer the file from pc to quest 2 storage & watch it. I know I can use the quest 2 browser to stream it over the web. I want to play VRvideo directly from the PC via the link cable, without copying it to my quest 2 before. Using the virtual desktop app doesn't help either because when I launch the file on the virtual desktop of my PC, it doesn't play in VR, but the side by side view that the desktop would play it as.
