Question

Meta link app cannot link with headset

I've tried talking to support, factory resetting, trying on another device and doing troubleshooting steps but I just cant pair with the link app using WIFI or usb-c.

My hardware is within minimum requirements, it has an i7 with Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.

I've seen this is a common issue in the forum where people say to rollback graphics drivers however I don't have a dedicated GPU. My headset just doesnt detect the link app. I remember it saying "please make sure the link app is installed and running" in the link settings when I plugged in USB-C. So it thinks I don't have it open.

The second device is an older Windows 10 laptop, I get this error saying meta quest virtual display stopped working constantly. Maybe its something that my newer laptop doesnt report?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    No, it's not.

You need a dedicated graphics card, link does not work with integrated graphics.

Your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements. You have an i7 with integrated graphics. That won't work. You must have a dedicated graphics card.
