Oculus PC App Making Computer Run Slower (ROBLOX especially)

Okay, so.. UNFORTUNATELY.. huge emphasis on the unfortunately.. I had to switch back to my Meta Quest 2 because I no longer have my Valve Index. So I'm now using the PC app which now updated to the "Meta Quest Link" app or whatever. It makes my computer run slower and even when I end all the service tasks and everything OVR related in the task manager, it still makes my PC run slower and especially ROBLOX.

Whenever I open a ROBLOX game now sometimes it doesn't even work "Failed to connect to game", or it takes like a minute to open. This is very frustrating as I've had these problems with the app before. I miss my Index.. anyways, help me out.

What happened to your Valve Index? Did it break? Maybe it was running your computer so fast, it fell over and broke its neckπŸƒ . πŸ˜‚ Man, the Quest cannot make your computer run slower, what are you smoking?

I had the same issue and this is how I fixed it

Disable Meta Horizon Link From Starting By Default

Go to Services In Windows, find Oculus VR Runtime Service > Properties and set Startup Type to "Manual"
Only when you open the app it will run again, and prevent itself from running everytime you start the computer up.

Roblox Joining Issues

When not using VR while in game, Go to Esc > Settings > VR and turn it to "Off" here. This is what is causing the very laggy joins and the join errors when teleporting across servers
