Pairing right controller

My right controller went out. I ordered one on line and have been trying to to pair it with my headset. I have done everything meta support has told me. I guess the headset is paired in a different account but I can’t find that account. When I choose my quest 2 headset it never goes to the controller option. Anyone have any ideas?

      You have a headset paired to your account, right?

       Go to headset - settings in the mobile app, tab on controllers, add controller.
