Quest 2 won't connect to PC via airlink or cable suddenly overnight

I was using the official quest link cable to play PCVR and it was working fine. Next morning my PC can't connect to my headset via air link with the cable at all. I know the cable still works because it charges the headset if plugged into an outlet or other PC, but my headset wont even charge with the cable through my PC now. Nothing I have found online solved the problem. Air link will not recognize the pc over wifi either.

    AirLink is wireless 🙃. Maybe you mean cable Link.

    Try unpairing the PC and then pairing it to the headset again.

    So, there's a problem with the USB port(s) on your PC, because you say it works on a different PC.
