Rift S no longer connects after Meta Horizon Link update

Hey there,

I still have a Rift S that I used regularly for several years without any major issues. I had not used it for a while, but today I got the itch to dive back into VR.

First, I had to update the software to the Meta Horizon Link app, which I completed successfully. However, my Rift S now refuses to connect via USB.

I have tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested by the AI assistant, but nothing has worked. At this point, I am concerned that one of the recent software updates may have caused the issue.

I also tried to contact a human support agent, but I have not been able to get through. The support page repeatedly asks me to enter my device’s serial number, but I always receive the following error:

“No product found. Check the information you entered and try again.”

This happens even when I copy and paste the serial number directly from the Meta Horizon Link app.

Is there another way to contact Meta Support or speak to a human representative? Has anyone else experienced the same issue with their Rift S?

Thanks for your help.

Hi CoDeMir 🙂

You can contact Meta support via email, chat or WhatsApp HERE, it's a direct link, no serial number needed.

Hi Choleni

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately it asks me to verify my device and it does not recognize my serial number...

CoDeMir the link I gave you should work without a serial number, you can even use it, if you don't have any device.

You should get this:
