Idea of improvment.

_As we need More horizontal field of view, than vertical one.
_As the screen have to be splitted in two for each eyes.

Why not having the screen disposed vertically ?

So we would have
1080p*960 per eyes instead of 960*1080

That would be 10% more horizontal pixel, with the same screen.

There is a conflict between creating a new thread to discuss an old topic, and necromancing a thread. Being a wizard, I prefer necromancy. Having common content spread across multiple thread (even if one of them is old and the other is new), is difficult for me to adapt to. I like my "external storage" (these forums) arranged with like things together. Unfortunately, that requires practicing the fine art of thread necromancy. Some forums auto-lock threads that have had no new activity for some period of time. I hate that, and I hope it is never implemented here.

While reading this thread again, I saw a post prescient enough to beg for a Facebook ($2bn) update, and being an unlocked thread, I made that post to satisfy my compulsion to complete that meme. Sorry to those who are offended by such things as necromancy, wizardry, and such "alien" (or ancient) things...

I agree with Geekmaster. Nothing wrong with a comment bringing up an old thread if that comment is relevant to the discussion.

    (Preemptive strike)
This comment is only relevant in regards to the topic of thread necromancy, as is its intention. Long live the wizards!
