Idea of occulus game/demo you would like

Hi,

Maybe a lot of you are like me, a lot of idea, but no game-developper skill.
And maybe some others are very good developper but have no idea...

Here is a topic, where you can regroup every Idea of game, demo, or simulation you wishe to test with occulus rift.

From my point of view :

flying is the dream of every men, so :

_A superman flying simulation, a great "man-flying" simulation in virtual mountains or city would be great.
With a great care of the "gravity" feeling, of course.
or
_A jetpack flying simulation. with limited acceleration phases Very good sensation, with a lot of up&down.
or
_A "jump from" simulation : Jump from a plane, a mountain, a building, and see the floor coming to you.
or
_A catapult simulation. Where you're catapulted by some device.

Reincarnate yourself with the body of someone/something else :
We saw some demo in the body of a mosquito, of a baby...
Lets try everything !

_Underwater environment : To feel the oppresive environment of the water, and trying to catch fish, all around you.

Go with your ideas ;)

I'd like it if you could use the Unity editor while wearing the rift

Walk around in the world, creating objects, moving around objects, just watching your simulation run

You can do this to an extent by building then running it, but the iteration time would be much better if you could just hop in while in the editor

A game that would be amazing is Alice in the wonderland.

Getting more little, more big, and evolving in an amazing world.

A game of soccer or basketball
    where you're INSIDE the player.

You still play and move with your joystick, but you can look all around you while playing.

    Greatly immersive i think.

    Demo request: NPC interactions

When I played Half-Life 2 with the Rift I was a bit stunned by the "presence" that NPCs had in VR. Maybe because they appeared to take up true physical space? I don't know.

But it was powerful to me.

I'd love to see a demo of NPCs performing tasks that stop what they are doing and make eye contact when you approach.

I think we may find something pretty magical here.

If I had to choose something then it would be:

    Low Gravity Sports
Examples include a war version like in Ender's Game or a football (american) version; spatball in Tom Clancy's Net Force: Explorers Book 18. You could also do things like dodgeball or tennis (would end up more like a game of pong or a more 3D version of squash) or explore other things like water polo (good luck finding the air pockets floating around) or golf (like mini golf but 3D rather than 2D, of course with some kinds of restrictions so you don't lose the ball in the sun...).

The problem with that would be that you would have to have full instantaneous 3D control rather than always 2D. But either way, that would be epic to experience low gravity and still play sports.

-How about downhill Louge racing, you could play while lying on your bed? :P

-I'm sure this is already in the works, but an entire themepark would be awesome where you can go on all the different rides.

-Perhaps a space jump, like the one performed by Felix Baumgartner.

    -Superboat racing sim.

-A game where you can shrink down to nano-size and walk around inside a person's body, studying their anatomy :)

-This is similar to the previous idea, but in this game you could be the size of an ant and explore a garden... just imagine the encounters with larger insects and birds!

    -Drag racing sim

    - A worms game but in the first person... imagine using the ninja rope haha.

I'll be back with more ideas :)

Pitched as 'Fantastic Voyage' it could end up being 'Colonoscopy, the Game'
