Oculus will have positional tracking... means we'll have one free stem sensor.
So, If in fact the Stem system allows 2 player interaction then removing a stem from the head allows for 6 sensors.
2 x Oculus Head + 4 x STEM (max. stems permissible is 5 )

p.s- Maybe the new Stretch Goal - $700,00 will allow a user to implement a phone as a simple haptic device i.e.. a sword that vibrates on contact... I can't see how else it will be used.. any thoughts ?

I'm worried about that. Will the commercial Oculus be compatible with the Stem? I suppose yes, but what about the Hydra?

I'm talking about incompatibilities with the magnetics fields of the devices.

The STEM system? Barring their prototypes, nobody will have hands on until mid 2014.
