Please keep us updated, I am interested in the outcome of your pitch and maybe some tips on how to get them hooked. Am in a similar situation, but different industry and still developing my 'pitch-app'.

Hi Mate
Basically the outcome of the conversation was as follows, the company in question have said they will back me to gain funding from a third party. I'm hoping as the company has a substantial input into the industry this will be a big step towards making the project a Reality.
Here's a couple of things I mentioned and put to them.
In General if the system/product delivers what it is set out to do there are some amazing potential inputs not to be taken lightly
• The product could potentially make a shift in the Economy due to time and costs that would be saved by using the system
• Could potentially save tax payers money on government funded projects
• It could also be used in say 3rd world developing countries as it would provide a step by step guide of construction itself, meaning they could rely more on their own resources again cost saving and potentially creating new jobs where previously they weren't available due to the knowledge requirements
• would lower labour costs in general as it would provide the knowledge that only certain skilled labourers are in the possession of (trust me, I know this for being involved in the industry for 15 years)
So at the moment so far so good we'll see what happens at the next step and I'll keep you posted :D
I yet, do not get what the entire idea is about: you are developing what? a soft to train workers that build houses?
Sorry, I do not get it.
Best regards, Ezequiel

In short just take for example 2D conventional construction plans for steel fixing, these take a while for steel fixers to learn to read even experienced steel fixers still struggle with the complexity of some of the more complicated plans so......
Take AR (Augmented Reality) for example, instead of looking at and having to decode complex 2D plans AR will in turn place a 3D holographic image in front of the users face equaling no more decoding/thinking it will basically eradicate completely, the whole learning curve to that process. It's actually quite powerful when you look at that on a global level.
In turn meaning new labour will no longer have to go through that whole learning process.
With VR there's many things that can be achieved,
• Training • Inductions • Architectural walk throughs • Elimination of personnel in dangerous areas etc....
Take this steel fixing plan for example the benefits of seeing this in full 3D out on site make things much simpler
