As long as it doesn't have foulproof fingertracking it's a no-go for me.
Also, an integrated mini-joystick mounted on the index finger and turned towards the thumb would probably raise the general interest of the product since it would solve much of the movement problems without having to resort to a treadmill.
Menus and such can always be solved SAO-style :D

A group of the YEI tech team are going to be at CES this week at Booth #25633 in the LVCC South Hall 2. Feel free to stop by and say hello. :D

There is already a bunch of news articles and videos from the preview event yesterday. I'm still finding them as they appear.

We also have announced our Kickstarter relaunch date which is February 14th, more details are on our Kickstarter page.

Tomorrow we plan on demoing a full body suit and letting people try out an upper body suit with the Oculus Rift.

It looks interesting, but it looks like a chore to put on all those sensors individually - not to mention super goofy.

I'd suggest having a model that integrates the sensors into a mesh jacket with adjustable straps at the sensor sites. That way it's easier and probably quicker to put on and off. Slip it on like an ordinary jacket, zip it up and then pull some staps to secure the sensors in place. Mesh so it still remains cool but you get the benefits of it all being integrated to one piece of clothing. You could also hide the charging wires better that way.

We integrated YEI's sensors to our Wireless VR system and works pretty fine with Wireless Oculus Rift.
We call our system as Nefes.

it would be awesome if YEI creates an option for 3 sensors for just only spine modeling on their upcoming Kickstarter campaign.

With spine modeling on Nefes, we can have wireless positional head tracking.
