Problem with DK2. RGB color issue

Is anyone else having an issue where the DK2 will show the RGB *Red Green Blue* around edges? I'm in the Falcon demo and walking around and there is a a shift of these three colors. Hope I'm making sense, I get these colors seperated.

Is there a way to calibrate the display?

Thanks

    Search for chroma.
    There is an issue with excessive chroma correction for the DK2 in the current SDK version. Had to reduce the chroma correction for the DK2 to 75% in my code to get it perfect.

    Chroma can't be modified from config, afaik. Only in code when client rendering.
    Configs are under AppData\Local\Oculus

    Hey @kaetemi,

    What development environment are you using? We are developing in Unity and are experiencing exactly the same issues. Can you share your code fix please?

    thanks

    Yep,

    I can confirm , it's totalle over-corrected..noticed it first 10 seconds I had the DK2 on....I thought it was the lenses themselves..but it's just the software correction.... I will have to reduce it from the UE4 demo I'm making as well...

    Client-rendered, C++.

    Not sure if you can modify the Unity code. I basically lerped the R and B tex channels from the SDK towards the G channel, so that the chroma is only 75% of what the SDK tells me to, for the DK2.

    I'd be interested if you could try my Ryzom demo with your DK2 and let me know if my correction works for you as well. Not sure if this is specific to user or a specific lens batch or some other parameter...

    Hopefully they fix this in the next SDK release. Better report to Oculus if the same correction works for you as well.

    Chroma is still way off. This needs to be fixed very soon... Isnt there the possibility to fix it manualy???

    On Most DK 1 Demos there was a key to increase / decrease the effekt. :geek:
