Ok let's stop harassment. But do start to realize that for the most part of this thread I was trying to help you and you didn't quote me once on my attempt to give you some tips! I didn't tell you to not buy a 3d printer, I told you that having a 3d printer needs some skills to go with it. It's certainly within your reach. I don't say you are stupid, far from it, I say you have potential and I even admitted being like you when I was younger for god sake!

Now, please agree with us here, the technology to make a good product is simply not within the reach of the consumer/hobbyist. Do you agree?

It is impossible for a hobbyist to print a OLED display, do you agree?

Oculus company have many high profile technical people, and their combined knowledge far outweight yours, do you agree?

Oculus is strategically moving pawns into place, they are a business after all, and they are there for the money and certainly at their core they are pushing VR the best they can, do you agree?


I'll tell you what you have, you have the motivation but you most probably don't have the money yet to achieve what you want. And that's all fine and not really a problem. Please tell me, are you into this just because you don't have money for a rift?

And also, some good tips are in this thread, people are telling you to be careful about scams. It is not possible to buy a good 3d printer for 200$, please understand that as well!

Oh and why not buying a DK2 and buy a second camera or hack the device itself? It's a devkit, it's not a jewel, it's meant to be hacked, torn apart, pierced, thrown on the wall etc..
