    There are no 1080p DK1s. Just because it supports 1080p input doesn't mean it has 1080 vertical pixels, it just scales down the image.
    The FullHD Rift prototypes were hand made and never sold publicly.

    Yeah fully agree. And this isnt even taking into account why oculus even would sell a DIY kit?
    Why would they even want the hassle of selling kit like this? Theres like zero incentive.

    Oculus is not about making DYI kits for the homebrew crowd. Its about developing a affordable kit
    to take over the VR world. Palmer may have started out as a DIY "glue gun" warrior, but Im sure glad
    oculus isnt focusing on that moving forward.

    But I realise that OP is just trolling now :)

    I dont think he is trolling, he is just a ignorant kid that want things done like he wants, and if you dont them he start complaining, god i hate kids.

    Guys, I am on call today, and therefore stranded at my house. Thank you so much for this post. It killed a good 30 mins of what was turning out to be a boring day.
