"Under Review" for the past 4 weeks & no communication, help

Hi there,

We submitted a test version to the developer portal 4 weeks ago and haven't received any communication about it so far. The status has been "under review" ever since we submitted it. I opened two support tickets to get some more clarity about the submission procedure and again no response whatsoever. Not sure what to do now?

Yes, feel free to update you submission if you like. It shouldn't affect your place.

We submitted Live for Speed on 23rd December and it's still "Under Review". There is no sign of a change in the 7 weeks since then. We are releasing a new full update this week.

Cyber, it isn't possible to update the submission. It is locked after submission. The "Update App Info" button doesn't do anything. In the "Build Info" section (and also App Info and Assets) there is no button to edit or update anything.

You can update the build. Just go on your app, click on the "Build" Tab.. and then you should be able to see your previous build on the bottom of the page. If you click on "..." button you can upload a new build that will replace your currently build with the new one.

I have just did it and everything went fine!

    I see now, thank you.

It seems I was just looking at the tabs below the "App Information" title and didn't click on the other tabs above it.

As you say, the "Build" tab near the top leads to the option to upload a new build.

NOTE: I don't see any way to change anything else (screen shots, description, etc). The "Update App Info" button seems dead on all pages.

Just to let people know. My program is still "Under Review" and was submitted on the 22 December.

I wanted to mention this as I'm assuming a lot of us are in the same position and are still waiting so the fact that others are too, might help other people understand there must be a real backlog of applications.

If there are any Oculus people on here that might be able to give some indication of time that would be good. Otherwise I'll just wait until the dreaded "Under Review" changes. Hopefully not to "Rejected" but I submitted as early as I could to deal with that if it happened.

I'll let people know when this happens. If anyone else is having a similar experience or has managed to move to the next stag and wants to share the process I'll be very interested to hear.

    All the best

Thanks so much. They are in your same situation, sent on December 23 and still "under review".
To me it would be enough to have an answer, because I will publish my game on Steam on April 1, and still do not know if my game will support the CV1 due to the fact that I can not prove it.
They gave as a release date March 28, missing only 2-3 weeks and we have not information about the 1.0 firmware, oculus home, and any other thing.
This is not a critic to the management of oculus marketing, but this exaggerated confidence is undermining my project, like all other indie developers.
if change my status "under review" will let you know, and sorry for bad English

I'm in the same situation. I have submitted two games for review. The first one was submitted December 23. Both are in the 'under review' state.

I hope we'll get some good news soon :)

My guess, runtime 1.0 release on launch day will have severe issues uncaught before because of a lack of large scale beta testing. With a devastating bad buzz of early adopters struggling at getting it to work on their computers !

I feel like oculus slammed the door on the indie developers....

That's not true. We are working with tons of indie developers. Look at all the games on Gear VR. However, there is limited bandwidth and it's difficult to work closely with every single developer on the planet (as much as we'd like to).
