Windows 10 Compatibility w/ Oculus Rift DK2 - PLEASE READ

Our software team is working as quickly as possible to complete Windows 10 compatibility with our SDK and the Oculus Runtime. As Windows 10 is not officially supported at this time, we strongly suggest that Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 owners do not upgrade from previous versions of Windows until we have the officially updated SDK and Oculus Runtime available.

They were created 15/01/2016 which is the very day it all stopped working! I was at a meeting that day and used a USB display adapter for a screen. These are display link drivers which I have promptly removed. All is now well :D Fixed!

Yes, DisplayLink (or any USB monitor) can be problematic. Good find.

You can not use Runtime 0.6 on Windows 10. It won't work, like I said. You need at least 0.7, though I would recommend using 0.8 (the latest public release). Be sure to uninstall 0.6 completely, then restart, before installing 0.8.

Then, AMD 6000 series cards are not supported. I'm unsure why you have two different GPUs in your system, and I'm not sure that will work. I'd recommend removing the 6670 card or, at the very least, make sure DK2 and all monitors are plugged into the better card.

You can also try this AMD driver:

    http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-article ... river.aspx

    Hope that helps.

    oh manythanx,
looks like that's the point, i tried with affected and all is ok.
one thing more i woluld like to know, if possible, or maybe ì'm out zone sorry:
with 6.0 sdk i can see 3d and 360 video using vr or 360 cinema or cinevo, but looks like no one of them runs under 8.0
maybe because they work best with extended monitor mode, but in 8.0 sdk i can't set this.
do you know if there is a way to set it or maybe i must wait for new apps versions? or the new oculus?
