Critical Bug: Infinite Registration Loop and Verification Failure on Meta for Developers

Hello Meta Support and Community Team,

 

I am writing to report a persistent system bug that is completely blocking me from creating a Meta for Developers account.

 

I have attempted the registration process multiple times. After waiting an extended period (including a 24-hour wait for a mobile verification code to finally arrive), I successfully received the SMS code, entered it, filled in all my required contact details, and selected my developer role.

 

However, despite successfully completing all these steps, the platform refuses to finalize my account creation. Instead of granting me access to the dashboard, it traps me in an endless loop and throws me right back to the initial "About you" role-selection page.

 

I have attached screenshots documenting this exact registration loop and interface state. Could you please look into my backend account status or escalate this bug to your technical team so my account can be manually created or unblocked?

        Same here. And I've been rate-limited on SMS verification for the past 14 hours. Very frustrated. Meta staff needs to fix this ASAP.

          wait and exactly 24 hrs for that at first they dont provide the code   after then when you click send sms again in 5-6 seconds the code will arrive that not the problem that I have been taking about here after you recieve that code waiting 24hrs they didn't register us .what a frustrating thing

                It just loops us back to "verify account" after completing registration and we can not even report this bug in developer support as that itself requires a developer account.

                  Same issue here, from Argentina.

                   

                  Register and Contact info both complete (they turn green), but pressing

                  "Complete registration" on the "About you" step throws me back to the email

                  verification step and un-verifies it. Endless loop.

                   

                  Tried: Chrome, Chrome incognito, Safari. Fresh code every attempt. Different

                  roles (Developer, Owner/Founder). Same result every time.

                   

                  Worth noting for anyone about to suggest it: my account already has a confirmed

                  phone, two-factor authentication enabled, and a card added to Meta Pay, and my

                  business portfolio has a payment method. None of it makes any difference — the

                  loop happens before any of that matters.

                   

                  Business Manager says "You must confirm your account before you can create a new

                  app", and its "Confirm account" link goes straight back to the broken

                  registration. facebook.com/confirmaccount is unavailable.

                   

                  This is blocking me from connecting a WhatsApp Business number that is already

                  linked and showing as Connected.

                        I'm experiencing the exact same issue today.

                        My registration flow is: Register → SMS verification succeeds → Contact Info → About You → I select Owner/Founder → Complete Registration.

                        After completing the final step, the registration silently returns to Verify Account and my developer account is not created.

                        If I open developers.facebook.com/apps afterwards, I'm asked to register again.

                        My Facebook Account Status shows no restrictions and my Support Inbox shows no violations.

                        This has already happened more than once with successful SMS verification.

                        I'm trying to create the developer account specifically to use the official WhatsApp Cloud API.

                        It appears to be the same registration loop reported by the other users in this thread.

                          THEN TELL US WHERE CAUSE THE PLACE WHERE IS SUPPOSED TO DO THE REPORT CANT BE ACCESED BY THE OWN BUG
