Strange controller 180 deg. flip after installing Meta SDK Core

Hello there,

I'm developing a game for the Q3 in Unity 6.2.  I have OpenXR 1.16.1.  After installing Meta SDK 205.0.0 (I need it to use the AppSW feature) my controllers appear flipped 180 deg. (in the Z direction, I believe).  So, palms now face outwards instead of inwards like before the change.  I've read other forums, this is a known issue but I'm not able to find a solution.  Unity declined a fix since it says it's a third-party problem.

Please help, I've been stuck for weeks.

Thanks!

I'm wondering if you are using SteamVR at all? If so, it's a calibration issue in Steam, and you can recalibrate:

Hi Steve,

No, I'm not using SteamVR at all.  The thing is that it worked perfectly until I installed Meta SDK Core in Unity.  I've tried everything, even scripting...nothing works

You could try reporting it on the Meta Horizon Developer Feedback Centre. They have categories for issues with the SDK and Unity etc.

Thanks! I'll do so.  Although this is a known issue.  Unity refused fixing it (it issued a "Won't fix" on the matter) because it's a third-party problem (META)
