Unity 4 Month Trial

I hope this is the correct place for this thread, however I have a possible problem with the activation of my 4 month free trial of Unity 4.

When I activated the trial code, the Unity Editor stated that I would only be able to use Unity Pro for the standard 30 days rather than the full 4 months I was promised. I also cannot seem to view when the trial will end within the editor (I'm hoping this is just a semantic issue and my trial will actually last the 125 days as promised).

Did anyone else have this problem when activating their Unity 4 month trial? Should I worry or take some action?

Thanks.

I have received my "your order is about to ship" email but still nothing except address and paypal transaction details after I log in to the sales page mentioned above. I guess that's because I haven't gone into processing yet? Also going to be v disappointed if I finally get my code and it's expired/about to expire... I've been waiting patiently for a looooong time now!

[edit] Now that my account's switched to processing I see my code along with "read how to activate your trial license here. Trial license is valid for 125 days from the activation day." - that seems clear and unequivocal and is good enough for me - I'm willing to trust that if there is a technical problem it'll be resolved.

[edit 2] Just to confirm I am affected by the bug (even if it does turn out to only be a display issue). I've activated and installed my 125 days trial serial number this morning (25/07/13) and it says 'Welcome to your free 5 day Unity Pro trial'. I guess we'll find out in 5 days whether there's a real problem or not!

I just installed my 125 days trial serial and it said welcome to my free 2 days Unity Pro trial. *fingers crossed*

I just moved my license to a new laptop, it also said I have 2 days left. Pretty sure all of these 125 day licenses are going to expire tomorrow.

Why didn't we get a warning that our 4 month trial was already counting down before it was even announced?

Some of us were waiting until we got our Rifts before registering for the 4 month trial. Some of us are still waiting for our Rift. I have been busy. I plan to register my 4 month trial in a couple of weeks and I will be very disappointed if it has expired without warning even before I register it...

I think it would have been fair to announce the expiration date of all these 4 month trials...

I'm not too worried. The notice on the order page gives the strong impression that it's once you redeem the code(Claim code + starts from activation date). Unity has nothing to lose to sort this whole situation out (Why piss away developers to unreal?). Obviously a bug/error of sorts.

The funny part is those who have already been using it will most likely be given new codes, thus giving them extra time! As they say; the early bird.

Well I guess we will find out tomorrow if the Unity trial implodes into itself.

If that does happen then it's a bug, not the intended functionality. We can probably sort things out if necessary.

It only stopped working when I went to "manage license" and then returned the license (I'm a dual boot user and wanted to reactivate on another OS). It just wouldn't let me reactivate. The key was first activated around 6 days ago. It was marked as a 6 day trial.

If a solution to this exists, please let me know.

Well mine said 2 days when I transferred the license 3 days ago, and it is still working now. Fingers crossed it keeps working.
