AI Glasses

Hello, I recently bought a pair of meta ray ban display glasses. They’re awesome, but no matter what I try instagram won’t behave as it should. The app is stuck in the state it was in when first setting up the glasses. So any new messages received or sent are not shown at all. I’ve tried factory resetting, soft & hard resetting, unlinking instagram, rebooting my phone etc. Anyone else face the same issue, and potentially even solve it? :)

I would like to know if there is any way to turn blietooth off. Sometimes I want to wear them and take pictures and videos without connecting to my phone because I have my phone connected to a bluetooth speaker. For instance, I want to wear them when I'm playing golf to take pictures and video, but I don't want my glasses to connect to my phone because I am playing music on a separate bluetooth speaker and I don't need to listen to music on my glasses. Or I might want to wear them when I'm driving to use them as regular sun glasses without them hooking up to my phone for music because I am already listening to music on my car syereo

Just received a pair of Oakley Vanguards as what should be an amazing Christmas gift, however cannot connect to Strava or Garmin via the Meta AI app. On pressing “connect”, I am met with just a blank white screen which seemingly never loads. No issues with Spotify/other music app connections. Anybody else with this issue? Any fixes? Tried the usual sign-out/uninstall all relevant apps etc. 

I can't link Strava or Garmin to my glasses and the Meta app. Other apps like music work perfectly, but with Strava and Garmin, as soon as I authorize them, I get stuck on a blank page and nothing works anymore... it's frustrating. Thanks for your help :)

I tried anything and everything. Updated all apps, I have a compatible Fenix 8 watch, updated my phone, all apps, the watch itself, restarted all apps, restarted all devices, re-set and re paired all devices… did everything everyone is suggesting… still getting a white screen when trying to allow Meta AI to connect to Garmin Connect. Please help, urgently! Much appreciated!

I can see a lot of people are having issues connecting the vanguards with the apps and I am having the same problem with the wayfarer gen 2.  Try connecting to Strava, Garmin and Amazon music and all I get is a white screen.  All apps show in connections but nothing connects!!! have tried the troubleshooting suggestions and nothing resolves it.  These are major reasons I bought the glasses and now wondering whether I just call it quits and return them. can any one help with sorting this problem?

I got my glasses about 3 months ago, waited patiently for the 19.2 FW update. Finally got it about 3-4 weeks ago. HOWEVER, I see NONE of the features that is supposed to come with 19.2 (like 5 minute video recording) I tried all combinations of settings... I reset the glasses... I even joined the early access program... features like 1080p 60FPS, 5 minute recording are just not there. No video stabilization... Yet Version says 19.2... any ideas? maybe a complete factory reset?Thanks

My Meta gen1 Touchpad and wear detection stop working.i have tried all of the trouble shooting.and they still don’t work.

Hi,When I try to connect Garmin OR Strava in the Meta AI application after saying Yes on the popup for any of the apps I only get a white screen.I tried every option reinstalling the Meta AI (and reconnect glass), reinstalling Garmin, non of these options works.I think there is a serious issue when it comes to pairing with these apps. The only benefit of the glass is the ability to connect to Garmin and Strava.I saw multiple threads about the same problem. It would be great to get an official statement that Meta is on the issue and an update will be given to the consumers.I got the glass as Christmas present and despite listening music on it and taking some random pics none of the pillar functionalities are working for the glass.Regards,Matt

Hola soy de España y estoy intentando vincular las gafas de Oakley Vanguard con Garmin y al conectar con Garmin se queda la pantalla en blanco sin poder continuar. He realizado todos los ajustes de instalar y desistalar las app y no se soluciona. Por lo que estoy leyendo en foros este problema es común y en diferentes países. ¿Que solución me podéis dar?

I bought my Oakley Meta Vanguard in London Saturday 13th. I have tried multiple times via Meta AI app to link to Garmin and Strava. Just doesnt work. Press the link button then screen goes white.Ive deleted and reinstalled apps loads. My watch is a Fenix 8 so fully compatable.Further my Apple Health and Apple Music linked no troubleI'm ready to throw them back at Oakley for a refund later this weekend 

My Meta Rayban glasses won’t connect to my Amazon Music account. Other apps (e.g. Apple Music) connect ok.i go through the process on the Meta AI app and get to the final stage, before it fails to connect. When I try to connect I get “Continue as Roger”. When I press this (no other option) I just get a blank white screen which remains as such until I close the app (even after 20 mins +).Any advice as to why, please?

Hi, I tried to connect Garmin and Strava to the Meta AI app and it does not work. After consenting, a white screen appears and nothing else happens.I tried resetting my glasses and reinstalling the Meta AI app but these did not work.These glasses were a Christmas gift and it is a very disappointing experience given the price. Equally the customer service experience is poor. I saw this issue is widespread with no clear fix. Please can someone from Meta advise on how I resolve this issue so I can use the glasses for the intended functionalities.Thanks

Does anyone know of a fix to my Meta Raybans disconnecting when I OPEN the arms? Once I close the arms then it will re-connect automatically. I've tried force restart, factory settings, turned off wear detection, updated to 21.0, un-paired and re-paired and powered on/off. This happened to 2 days ago. These Meta glasses are GARBAGE! Nothing but problems since day one! 

I just bought my HSTN and updated to v.21 but I can’t find the quick connect to assign a contact on my touchpad settings. Only Apple Music, conversation focus, and meta AI are the options. 

Hi, I have the Skyler 0036 gen 2, and I can't find the option to quick connect, I have the newest iOS in the iPhone, I've tried a lot; like factory reset and uninstalling the app, how can I solve this

Meta Rayban says low battery after making 1 video on a full charge. After fully charged my Meta Rayban G1 I use the voice commend to make a video and after the video is done the glass says low battery and will not make another video or take a picture. If i turn the power button off and on again I can make another video or picture but then it says low battery and need to charge again. i have to repeat the process to make videos. I did hard reset, factory reset and same issue. Any solutions?

My iPhone cannot use Meta AI.I tried restarting my phone and reinstalling the software, but every time I want to set up my glasses, the app always gets stuck on a white screen

I can't get the to tell me which firmware version I have. I have both the RayBans and Oakleys. The META AI says to check the app to see the firmware version, but it's not there. Then it tells me it cannot say what the firmware is. I keep asking and one response "It's not important what the firmware is, just use your glasses." Yes, literally. Then I ask again, and it says it cannot tell me and to check the app. So I ask again and it says v11,  and I ask how can I upgrade to v21 and it says click update. But update says the glasses are up to date. Basically, this doesn't work. There are a LOT of claims by META about these glasses and they have only been basic cameras and speakers for me. NOTHING ELSE. I paid $500 twice to wear cameras on my head. Amazing.

So in frustration, I sat in my car at 1AM to try and figure out this BS update that ruined the glasses feature that EVERYONE LOVED!Here’s my work around. META if you’re watching, attention, pay attention to this. For IOS 26.2 users (most recent update) While your in the car connected to CarplaySettings -Bluetooth -Click the i next to your Ray-Bans-Click Disconnect -Your metas should make a sound to acknowledge it’s disconnected from your phoneThen you can play music and record at the same time. -Youll most likely have to repeat the process every time you get in your car until Meta gets their ish together.Thanks everyone! My gen1s started malfunctioning, I got gen2s in an exchange. I set it up on the same phone I had my gen1s on, and now I can’t use any celebrity voices.I tried setting the glasses up on another phone and it shows em but when I reconnected to my phone it’s unavailable again.  Is this just a me thing? What is happening lolHelp please I hate the three voices it leaves me with. 

Have the meta-display glasses and wore them while driving. Noticed music coming through Android auto and car speakers kept stopping and starting. Double tapping the fingers to wake the glasses helped a little. Is there a way, without having to turn the glasses off to allow my phone music to play through Android auto and car vs glasses. I'm sure I could turn off music/audio in Bluetooth settings but there are times when I listen to music through glasses outside of the car.
