Dear Meta Product Team, I would like to propose a groundbreaking feature for Meta’s future Augmented Reality (AR) glasses (such as the Orion ecosystem): Real-Time AR Overlay Navigation for Drivers. The Story Behind the Idea: I am not an engineer or an inventor; I am a musician and an artist. The inspiration for this feature came to me naturally while I was driving and wearing my glasses. In that moment, I used my creative imagination to visualize how amazing and seamless it would be if I didn't have to constantly look down at my phone's navigation map. Instead, I imagined seeing the road ahead dynamically traced with glowing lines, guide paths, and visual waypoints right through my lenses. The Concept: Integrating a live mapping and navigation service directly into the AR lenses. When a user is driving, cycling, or walking, the glasses would project a dynamic, visual route directly onto the road ahead—similar to the "navigation lines" seen in racing and open-world video games. I have Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and after update the rayban meta glasses, I have an error in all my glasses, that says something like "Cannot import media files", I tried import the media file using an iphone, and I did not have any issues using iphone, but my principal is the samsung device, so I have restarted the phone, delete cache from the app, data app as well removed, and finally uninstall and install again Meta AI app, but same result "Cannot import media files"Is this an issue for the most recent updates? or what would be the solution for this, thank you!
Hello Meta, I'm a French user of Ray-Ban Meta glasses (or Meta AI glasses). I love filming with my glasses, but the flashing LED that lights up during photos and videos is a real problem: it attracts the attention of the people being filmed, who then become uncomfortable, freeze up, or completely change their behavior. This makes capturing natural and spontaneous moments very difficult. Could you add a simple option to the Meta AI app to temporarily or permanently disable this recording LED? For example: a "Disable LED during this session" toggle switch. Or a permanent option in the glasses' settings (with a safety reminder if needed). This would greatly improve the experience for everyone who films with family, while traveling, for vlogging, or for creative purposes, without hindering normal use. Thank you very much for listening and for your work on the Meta glasses. I hope this feature can be added in a future update.

I have a pair of Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer purchased about 1.5 months ago, used with an iPhone (Meta AI app up to date) in Spain. For the past 2 days, they have developed a recurring fault:When I tap the touch area to activate Meta AI, the white LED turns on, there is no sound, then it turns off and the glasses disconnect momentarily.A few seconds later the green LED appears and they reconnect automatically. In the Meta AI app they still show as connected.Troubleshooting already performed (multiple times):Force restart (arms closed, power switch + capture button until red LED, wait 17s).Unpair and re-pair from the app (Settings > General > Unpair).Full factory reset (hold power switch fully right + capture button until solid orange LED) – I have had to do this twice in two days, erasing all captures. After each reset they work briefly, but the issue returns the next day.No issues during the first 1.5 months. No drops, water damage, or phone changes.
So i have tried evrything reboot factory reset, deleting app restarting the phone, i just cannot connect the glasses to the app anymore since yesterday after the update when the glasses have been working well for the past two months, i know for a fact many userd are having the same problem cause of the update, meta fix your mess.

Hi Meta Product & Engineering Teams,Unsure if this is the best forum to convey my thoughts below, but if not feel free to direct me to the appropriate channels As an early adopter daily-driving the Meta Ray-Ban Display and the Neural Band, I am incredibly impressed by the core user experience. Features like the monocular display and the Neural Handwriting transcription feel like absolute magic. However, using these devices together reveals a few practical UX gaps that, if resolved, would elevate this ecosystem from a futuristic gadget into an indispensable daily tool. Here are four targeted feature requests based on real-world daily use:Integrated Case Charging for the Neural Band: Currently, the glasses case acts as an excellent power bank for the frames but leaves the Neural Band stranded. Adding a hidden USB-C output port or an inductive charging slot inside or on the folding case would allow users to top up both devices simultaneously on the go without carrying extra cables
Question about sharing a picture taken by glasses and posting to FBWhen I say "hey meta, take a picture and upload to facebook"Response is "Make sure Meta AI app is open and bluetooth is connected" doneHave Facebook "connected" in communication tab. I have heard it might be a firmware update that needs up loaded. They are Gen 1'sThanks for any advice.
Currently I use a GoPro on my road bike for safety reasons. I've had cars swerve at me, I've had people people start fights with me, I've been attacked by dogs and the owners blame it on me...all kinds of crazy stuff over the last decade or so.So now I never ride my bike without the video running, like a dash cam in a car. I would buy these glasses instantly if they could record hour long videos. I currently wear Oakleys anyway but also have a goofy looking GoPro attached to the top of my helmet. I'd love to get rid of that and have it all as part of my glasses. Are there any plans to update the software/hardware to allow this safety feature in the future?
Tried searching for topics relating to this but unable to find anything.Dearly hoping that there are plans afoot for a firmware release from Meta that facilitates these great glasses with the ability to film in landscape mode. I am worried that this has been a massive oversight, a what could have been potentially the most revolutionary piece kit, might end up falling short at the last hurdle. If this is the case I might just have to offload them and switch back to my other action camera.Come on Meta, please shed some light on what may or may not be on the way... at least a little hint please.
Hello People!I've Been Having The 1st Generation Of The Ray Ban Meta Glasses For A While Now, I Have Just Came Back From Recording Some Video's And I Went Back Home To Import The Video's!So You Know How You Can Look At A "Preview" At The Video Before It Import's To Full Quality? Well I Did That For One Of The Video's Since I Was Checking Which On Of The One's Had The Funny Moment In It, But When I Checked Back A Minute Later To See If It Import It All Of Sudden Instead Of 3 Minute's Turned Into Just 1 Second And Wouldn't Let Me Play It Anymore! I Tried Using Video Player's Like "VLC" To See If It Would Play But I Still Couldn't Figure Out How To View It, But I Know It's Not Corrupted Or Messed Up Since The Date, Megabytes & Thumbnail Still Show's Up On The Meta AppSo Is There Any Way Or Loop Around I Can Do To Fix This Issue Since It Alway's Effect One Video Out Of The Some I Do To Import To The App, Thank's!
Does anyone know when Rayban Meta will get Turkish language support? I'm waiting for it to upgrade to Gen2, and I don't want to buy it because many features are unusable due to the lack of language support.
I cannot take photos or videos. I keep the getting the message that glasses camera is unavailable.
Before update i was able to make videos while i was listen Music with Spotify, now when i record a video Music solo stop there is An option to make this possibile?
Is there a way to snap a photo while video capturing? If not, how do I submit this as a feature request? Should be pretty easy to implement, and would be great to be able to snap photos while video capturing.
My mobile phone is Xiaomi 12s Ultra. I know that the data export format of the Apple system is different from that of Android. However, when I use an app to connect the device and import the captured pictures or videos, there are two problems: 1. Images: Occasionally, the file name suffix is .odProcessed.JPG, and the image format is HEIC. On the computer, it is displayed horizontally, and the image content is also horizontal; however, usually normal images are.JPG, and both the image and the content are vertical.2. Videos: When connecting the Xiaomi 12s Ultra through the app, shooting and exporting the video, through PotPlayer, it was found that the color space was BT470BG, but when binding other phones such as OnePlus 14, after shooting and exporting the video, it was found that the color space was BT2020.Can anyone tell me what's going on here?
These glasses are an incredible way to make music recordings especially in non studio environments where they can capture the ambient sound and the instrument sound in a way that feels especially similar to that of the musicians experience. It would be so good to be able to take long audio recordings that either have no video or the option to limit the quality of the video to allow for less intensive live processing. Though probably just introducing an audio only mode would be the easiest. There are many situations where this would be ideal, not just for musicians, for instance having a way to capture conversations, meetings or school lectures with the convenience of the glasses would be incredible as well. Is this being worked on? Would love to participate in a trial of this feature
Hi guys,Really loving my Meta Ray Ban Wayfarer Gen 2 glasses. The built in camera has really enabled me to take shots I'd normally miss (due to not getting my phone in time, or not bothering because of the faff). I'm having trouble starting a hyperlapse however. Wondering if you guys can point me in the right direction?I've tried "Hey Meta, start a hyperlapse" and "Hey Meta, record a hyperlapse". The glasses respond by making a confirmation noise, and the recording light comes on. But it stops shortly after. If I go to my Media page I can see it's just recorded a standard 3 minute video. My glasses are on the latest firmware available, and I'm based in the UK.Am I doing something wrong?
Hello, when I first purchased my glasses, the Zoom feature would work great with video. Now, over the last two weeks, the assume feature only shows in the display rather when I’m recording it doesn’t actually show in the saved video. Instead, it shows my hand making the zoom motion, but no zoom is happening.
I'm one of those people who is not happy with vertical (AKA sliver) pix and vids. There may not be many of us?? People who live with their phones only look at them one way, vertical- they never turn them horizontal to get to full view of something. Yet, all our big screen TVs , movie theaters, and computer monitors are landscape. So is our vision field of view. When we are driving in our cars our view is landscape, not just a little vertical slice of the road. I guess Meta is just for the FB and vertical phone users. OK, enough of my spleen venting. Just wish the glasses were capable of taking landscape pix and vids for the rest of us. Perhaps there are others who think the same way? (Note that I sometimes do take vertical pix and vids when the occasion calls for it. )
Vertical photo and video capture is great, but if I'm going to spend over $200 on smart glasses, I need them to be able to capture videos and photos horizontally as well.
