PTC v76 Release Thread

Hey Everyone,

The Public Test Channel (PTC) for Quest v76 started to roll out today for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S.

If you're seeing an issue or bug after updating to PTC v76:

1) For issues: Go to our Get Help board and search for any existing thread on the issue, if you don't find one, make a new thread. Please add the tag "PTC v76" to the thread and in the title. This way everyone can look for just PTC v76 issues too.

2) For bugs: If you come across a bug, please post each one you spot in its own thread, to keep track of individual issues separately. Please make sure to also send in bug reports along with posting on the forums if you notice anything going wrong.

Share your impressions in the comments below and let us know if you see any issues.

We know it's tough when you run into a problem on a PTC build and want to thank you all again for testing out PTC and sharing your feedback! This feedback is extremely helpful to our engineering teams. We appreciate your interest and persistence in testing out the core functionality of software as we develop!

      Anyone else having trouble updating? Update downloads and shows it install, boots to a dark empty void, hold power button until it rolls back version. i tried 3 times no luck

        Had the same issue!! had to hold the power button several times to get out of a boot loop and finally it installed..! now on PTC v76 !  What a **bleep** show..! I know we are here to help find bugs etc but META at least release a beta version that installs correctly or as in some cases at ALL...! this would allow us to do what we signed up to do..!

        As for what has changed..? i've done a quick look around and as far as I can see NOTHING visual, maybe something under the hood ?

            Iā€™m not seeing a boot loop just a very dark screen not black but just enough light that you will feel down

            Still see charging issue in this version. battery charge stuck at 75%

              Best of luck to all you brave PTC users.  Fortunately for me, non-beta v74 continues to work fine with both my Q3/512Gb and QPro.  I do hope that v76 helps those that are currently having issues with v74.  Good luck mates and best cheers.

              Upgraded to the v76 and I can not charge my device more than 73%.  This started in v74 and still remains!!!

                My Quest 3 updated to v76.1020 overnight all seems well but as on v74.1020 the volume slider in quick settings doesn't work but the volume rocker works fine.

                There is a selfie camera option but I don't know how to use this.
