PTC v76 Release Thread

klburns  welcome to the chaos.  I hope your stint here will be a long and productive one.

Haven't seen this available yet on my Quest 2 in the PTC.

Does this version not fix the battery charging issues introduced in V74? Whole reason why I jumped on PTC was to fix that ASAP because charge reliability issues like that can destroy lithium batteries very quickly.

Why cant i access this ?

Have huge performance issues and microphone works on some apps doesn't work on some others since I updated to V76 on my quest 2

Volume slider still not working along with mute button. Volume rocket works fine.

Random near/far issues when moving or adjusting screens. Fluctuates all over the place

Immersive background sounds still heard when screen expanded. Should mute.

Browser is still out of date and needs to be updated. Its chromium based so what's the problem there?

Why do you still not show a change log so ptc users know what features have been implemented and what issues to look for or are being addressed?

Do you still have paid workers for this to implement professional update practices or is it a couple kids in a basement??? This product is not considered cheap but your implementation surely is. Do you want to hire me to fix it for you because its a leadership problem in your ptc program?  Bottom line: DO BETTER OR HIRE PEOPLE THAT WILL!!!

A PTC without a changelog is just an invitation to an Easter egg hunt in hell. “What have we changed? We won't tell you! Is this new thing a bug or a feature? You'll never know!” Since the updates are also so random without actually fixing the dozens, if not hundreds of issues this system has, it just looks absurd. Who asked for this avatar usage for a video call?

Dingodown.  You don't really believe META cares about VR do you ?? It's a means to ends as far as they are concerned.. AR glasses is the real goal here! Replace mobile phones, that's where the real money is..! Profit and Greed is what rules the world now more than ever! So why pay people that WILL do better in a department that you really don't care about ? This PTC release is one of the worst that i've seen as in a lot of cases it won't even install..!! That's like serving someone soup and giving them a fork to eat it with..! As for your comment about a "couple of kids in a basement", honestly i'd think they would do a better job as they more than likely care about VR and not so much the profit.
