Horizon link not working

My Q3 was linking fine to my PC this afternoon, then literally an hour or two later, will not link.

I'm using a usb 3.0 cable, it is in a USB 3 port, power management of USB port is set correctly.

I get a notification saying 'Meta Quest Link isn't working correctly. Click here to check our support article'.

There is no support article.

I have restarted the headset and PC, repaired the Horizon app, logged out and back into the Horizon app, restarted the OVR service and I still can't get it to work.

Anyone else having or had similar issues recently?

Headset V83.1034 build 5156385.14650.520

Grateful for any ideas.

    I'm having the same problem. Everything was working fine until recently, I changed nothing.

      Same issue, though it will start up normally if I disconnect WiFi for both the PC and Quest.

      Basically, things work while offline, so you can run local PCVR games/apps, but nothing that needs an internet connection atm.

      I found a temporary workaround. 

      Before starting link, disconnect your PC from the internet. Then launch oculus link, should load right up, the reconnect your PC to the internet. This will work up until you need to unplug your headset.

      This is a workaround that works for me personally give it a shot may work for you too.

        I just tried this and it worked. Obviously they broke something with the recent update but for now this work around works

      Only way for me to get it to work is, every time I want to use link I have to un-install the stupid app and re-install it every time!!! Sometimes I do this routine 5 times a day depending on how often I want to link up.

    Same here. Was working fine yesterday. Same error and no article. Tried everything.

    I'm having the same problem. I was mid race and screen went dark. Tried backing out of app on computer and reconnecting, tried switching usb cords, connected via wifi, even factory reset headset nothing is helping.  Has to be something within meta link

    Same issue here, tried all the usual updates, repairing, resetting ODT to default setting, nada.....   Can't wait till P1m4X DA is released.

    Yep same thing with me, kinda reassuring I'm not the only one. I'm using quest 2 so must be a meta problem?

    Same.  It recently did an update during power off.  I had this happen about a year ago and Meta support walked me through force side loading the update to fix it.  Of course I don't remember the steps, nor am I confident that'll fix this issue here and now.

    Q3 and the same problem, tried restarting the pc, the meta horizon link, repairing the app, restarting the Q3, different cables and ports, connecting via wifi, and still not working.

        That is some bad luck. Hope they get it up soon. I am having Dirt Rally 2.0 withdraws...lol!
