Question

Come on Palmer, freak us!

So,

it's been over a year now since we got a glimpse at what VR might bring us through our beloved Development Kit. We've been kept busy with a steady stream of tiny bits of information regarding what OculusVR is up to behind closed doors. However, when it comes to solid facts on the current state of development, official statements on current or future specs or tasty new images out of the development process and the latest HMD-creations there's hardly anything new brought to us backers, developers and straight enthusiasts.

What I'm kindly asking you, Palmer, is wouldn't it be about time to pull down those panties and show us what you got in store right now? Maybe as a little Christmas present to the community? :D

Kind regards,
David

    @ Palmer,

Great to hear from you, looking forward to that announcement. I've had a lot of fun learning to develop for the rift. We are very excited to hear more about the rumored OLED screen and minor fov increase. Thanks again to you and the team.

    @ Geekmaster,

    Is this one more appropriate?

Can't wait to see your response, you're awesome too!

Some people do not feel safe when they stray too far from their own safe area. That is fine. There is room in this world for all kinds of people, and we each have our own work cut out for us. Just do not be offended by those who stray too far outside your own personal comfort zone, as we are not offended by the self-imposed limitations of others, because this world desparately needs independent thinkers to stretch the bounds of possibility, making the world a better place for all of us. We must grow to make room for our futures, and we must prepare for the best and the worst of imaginable possibilities, but choose the better path whenever an opportunity presents itself. And we are all awesome in our own ways. Life itself is awesome in all of its unexpected variety and magnificent splendor. IMHO.
    :D

I agree that the secrecy is almost unbearable, but knowing such inner secrets and having to be silent is probably even worse, and I suspect Palmer and cybereality would agree. We can rejoice in the recent revelations that something wonderful will be revealed in the months to come...

For example, over at PESWIKI, they now list some 40 different types of gravity wheel. In which all successful versions...are extractions of the fundamental of Milkovic's two stage oscillator. Milkovec has shown how this works in as simple a device as is possible.

    http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directory:Milkovic_Two-Stage_Mechanical_Oscillator

Such designs regularly obtain 200-300-800% efficiency. They work as gravity on this planet is not identical in the horizontal vs the vertical plane. Proofing this is easy, even a gasoline engine can do it, having been shown, in perfected engineering examples, to be 10% more efficient when the motor rotational orientation is horizontal over that of being vertical. (very precise and controlled testing of perfected examples). In the Milkovec oscillator it is illustrated that the dark matter connectivity of atomic structure (individual 'atoms') is shifted slightly, in how gravity integrates with it, at approximately the 45 degree angle point, as the pendulum shifts from vertical to horizontal inertial motion. (think of the motion of the two stage oscillator being like a diode based pump system for gravity. Since it is dark field gravity integration and it is physical, the motion of the physical components within the gravity/dark fields---is the diode)( earth's gravity is not static, it is a complex flow system, which is why the diode/pump functions)

All those 40 examples of gravity motors are utilizing this fundamental. It works in their case, after the largest of the given flywheels reach the point where skin effect and speed of propagation in the given material of the specific flywheel is accounted for. This involves Planck length differentials as a fundamental concern. This is exemplified in how a high speed dynamo designed motor, if run to it's highest speed is braked hard, stopped as fast as possible, and then brought back up to speed again as fast as possible. If it is done that way, with all variables accounted for..it will return to it's normal speed with 10% less energy input, compared to the same test where the motor is stopped for any given longer period of time... then returned to it's running speed. this result clearly illustrates the dark field or gravity field integration with the materials and fields of the motor/dynamo.

Back to the Planck length connectivity issue, an article that just came out yesterday, in the physics mainstream. Public science is finally allowing that gravity is not a fundamental but a secondary result of deeper fundamentals.

Not being a fundamental and thus tied to molecular/atomic/quantum expression points, ie the parameters of atomic structure, means that it is physically manipulable. (eg..things like the two stage oscillator and gravity wheels)

The theoretical results bolster the relatively new and exciting idea that the laws of gravity holding together the universe may not be fundamental, but arise from something else: quantum entanglement.

Creation of entanglement simultaneously gives rise to a wormhole

(do not dismiss, folks, that is merely one article of hundreds and more, in connective tissue - that makes it real)

There is a ton of articles and research papers coming out in these areas, over the past few years, and it is now peaking, which is why the panic in these sociopathic energy control systems is rising to a fever pitch.

I'm sory, but a machine with greater than 100% efficiency does not exist as energy cannot be created. As a great man once said: "In this house we obay the laws of Thermodynamics!"

Who said it is CREATING energy? Perhaps the rotation of the planet slows a little when such a device is in use...

Gravity slingshots are used by NASA spacecraft, and they use gravitational energy that they steal from the planet. Why not a terrestrial device that works in a similar manner?

There are lots of things we do not understand.

Sure, there is global warming (perhaps delaying the next overdue "little ice-age" even more) but it is uncertain whether that is man-made, unless our collective conscious is somehow affecting periodic sunspot activity and solar output:
    http://dailycaller.com/2013/12/05/report-scientists-predict-a-century-of-global-cooling/

And even collective consciousness having such "spooky action at a distance" properties cannot be dismissed with absolute certainty, however unlikely and unpopular such a thing may be in academia and popular opinion...

Paradigm-shifting discoveries are not often made by closed minds...

Lord Kelvin made many great discoveries, but even he was not always correct about what is possible:
"It seems as if we may also be forced to conclude that the supposed connexion between magnetic storms and sun-spots is unreal, and that the seeming agreement between periods has been a mere coincidence." -- Lord Kelvin, 1892

"X-rays will prove to be a hoax." -- Lord Kelvin, president, Royal Society, 1895

"Radio has no future." -- Lord Kelvin

"Heavier than air flying machines are impossible." -- Lord Kelvin

What is possible changes as we learn more. Dark matter and dark energy are still quite mysterious.

None of the devices linked in this thread claim to be using, or are capable of using the rotation of the earth in order to obtain a greater energy output than was seemingly put in.

I have no problem with the fact that NASA spacecraft take orbital energy from a planet, and it would be cool if a machine could do that to generate energy on earth. I'm not smart enough to figure out how to take energy currently making the earth go round the sun and convert it to another use while actually being on the planet though...

I agree that we understand very little about the workings of the universe and it is unwise to predict the future, but I also think that no machine yet proposed can generate energy, and I cannot see that changing.

So, essentially, you just talked out of your ass about something you have not investigated and if you did, you'd not be an authority on.

And in the process... you made a rule that you expect the rest of us to live and exist by. So much for the impartiality of science practiced by limited senses and the emotional projections of humans.

If you approach the limits of science, you approach the limits of mind. The two are inseparable. It is thus nearly impossible for the vast majority of even so called rational scientists to keep their emotions from projecting and reflecting reality for them. One has to approach not just the limits of rationality but the limits of mind, in sum and total.

If one does not embody this understanding in the exploration of limits, then the given person is not exploring limits of rationality and potential in science... but limits of themselves.

    :)

If you don't understand this subject, then the limits of the box you are in..are too small to see it's size. And the only one who can fix that, is you.
Intelligence... is not inherent - it is a point in understanding. Q: When does a fire become self sustaining?

Like Shroedinger's cat, conscious observation collapses the field of limitless subjective possibilities into limited objective reality:
    "
Quantum weirdness: What we call 'reality' is just a state of mind. A lifetime studying quantum mechanics has convinced Bernard d'Espagnat that the world we perceive is merely a shadow of the ultimate reality:
I believe that some of our most engrained notions about space and causality should be reconsidered. Anyone who takes quantum mechanics seriously will have reached the same conclusion. What quantum mechanics tells us, I believe, is surprising to say the least. It tells us that the basic components of objects – the particles, electrons, quarks etc. – cannot be thought of as "self-existent". The reality that they, and hence all objects, are components of is merely "empirical reality". ... This reality is something that, while not a purely mind-made construct as radical idealism would have it, can be but the picture our mind forces us to form of ... Of what ? The only answer I am able to provide is that underlying this empirical reality is a mysterious, non-conceptualisable "ultimate reality", not embedded in space and (presumably) not in time either. ... The outcome confirmed my anticipations. Entanglement-at-a-distance does physically exist, in the sense that it has physically verifiable (and verified) consequences. Which proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that some of our most engrained notions about space and causality should be reconsidered.

The big bang itself "created" a huge pool of energy that drives our universe today, and powers our tools, and it was created from the void. Before the big bang, there was nothing, no space, no time, no "before"... That in and of itself disproves that energy cannot be created from nothingness.

Recent experiments show that quantum entanglement crosses both time and space, and some believe that quantum entanglement and consciouseness are deeply intertwined as well. Perhaps our minds can span time and space, to inifinty and beyond... Unless we choose to deny ourselves such possibilities...
