Horizon Worlds Bobber Bay Fishing cannot purchase items... only bait

I'm really enjoying Bobber Bay Fishing by Horizon World's. I've completed my Fishdex on the main Island and am looking forward to trying Gator Grotto.... BUT.... I cannot buy any items (bobbers, poles, grotto pass, buckets) from the shop except for bait. Also, I've almost finished all the quests except for "catching a fish over 1770kg", which I have caught a fish over 1770kg but the quest won't show it completed. SO MANY people are experiencing this issue and nothing has been done to resolve it.

I am having the same exact problem. I strongly believe the game is broken. I can’t purchase anything, I’ve sold a lot of fish. Good thing I didn’t spend any real money on this game!

Many of the "worlds" in Meta Horizons are "free" worlds made by 3rd parties, including amateurs and casual gamers and basically anyone who has access to the built-in world editor. Thus there is no entitlement to be given support for those worlds.

I am having the same problem, but it says only mobile and Oculus devices can buy the Grato pass. Not laptops.
