Here's mine...

I'm a huge fan of The Metal but I think I'll start with some of my legendary, less angry, favorites.

Probably my favorite band of all time across all genres is Primus. I've seen them live twice, and I've seen Les Claypool live in his solo act once.

It all started with "Jerry was a Race car driver"

For those who don't know Les, fun fact: he once audition for Metallica and they denied him based solely on the fact that he is far too damn good for them.

I've seen tons of bands live (Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Korn, System of a Down, Pantera, Slipknot, Lamb of God - to name a few). But Primus is the band that showed me first hand the largest mosh pit I've ever seen, and it was to this mighty cute song:

A few thousand people went ape shit at the 1:37 mark.

I hold in high regard just about everything Claypool releases; if I had to pick a favorite song it is simply, Here Come The Bastards

My love for music knows no bounds, and I'm constantly exploring new songs. However, the songs that have been on repeat lately are none other than "Black Out Days" by Phantogram and "West End Girls" by Pet Shop Boys. These two masterpieces have truly stood the test of time! ðŸ˜Ž

      Don't worry be happy.

I love this latest video from Caravan Palace.

        Mirrors

The song is great, but I love the animation style, everything so fluid and trippy.

For something very different, 3 days ago Atarashii Gakko released an official music video for the new Ghostbusters Frozen Empire movie.

I came across this young artist Pouya https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qByUd_RCl-E

It's the kind of old vibes in music that I like and didn't hear for a long time.

More of a symphonic, power metal listener. Some I've really gotten into are Nightwish, Powerwolf, Sabaton, Windrose, and also Disturbed. Lots of great songs from them.

Ministry is back, maybe even better than ever - didn't see that one coming (ok, it's 8 months ago, but I don't check up on this music that often):

Good ol' Funker is still active - not really the music I'd buy, but fun to see what they're up to 🙂

This one I like better - might even go with my new MADiSON game, lol

If the Borg made music, would it be like this? ðŸ¤”

Btw, turns out I was wrong, this is my new preferred MADiSON VR music ðŸ˜…

          - and this more than 30 year old tune is still one of my favorites, and just got remastered:

This one seems to have some potential:

CyberAktif with roots going back to Skinny Puppy is back too - how amazing, had to order that CD together with the Ministry CD:

With everything going on right now, I figured it'd be time to add a song of my own to this thread. Favorite song at the moment definitely has to be Kendrick Lamar - Not Like Us. It is peak and has brought me back to the hip hop scene.

Sometimes it's okay to be a little Bing Chilling
