Question

Virtual Oculus Lounge

Is anybody interested in hanging out in an Oculus Rift Virtual Lounge?
I've been kicking the idea around.

It is incredibly easy to just hop in and create rooms using something like the unity bootcamp photon networking demo
but I was wondering what would make this special enough for folks to actually use to interact and hang out together
in a virtual space.

For the demo I'm talking about, reference

If namielus decides to allow that, he has to keep track of the upgrades himself, and then remember to provide you with the upgraded backer rewards. If allowed, you can then make ANOTHER contribution of the difference amount (not the full $30). Upgrades and refunds are up to namielus, whether or not to allow them, and how to deal with them manually.

Multiple people have asked him about upgrades or said they wanted to upgrade, here, and at MTBS3D, and in the indegogo comments. I have not seen him respond to any of those requests, although he has responded to OTHER stuff since they were posted. Not sure if you will get a reply from him or not. The info I posted was partly for his benefit, in case he missed where I previously posted it.

I cannot find anywhere to allow for upgrades. I am tired, will have to look at it tomorrow.

From what I read, there is no way to automate it. It says you need to handle it manually by somehow keeping track of who upgraded after they donate the difference. To go from $18 to $30, they need to make another donation of $22. But they will appear to be in their original tier as far as I can tell, and it is your responsibility to remember and to send send them the perks for the higher tier. Not automated. At least from what I read at indiegogo...

It says you can also give refunds if you choose, but then you need to remember to NOT send them their perk.
