Having issues with the sleep mode and other things

Hello, I am not really sure if there is even a point for me to type anything out in here but customer service told me to do it lol so here I am.

I have tried almost everything by the book under the sun to get my Quest 3 to not go into sleep mode the second my face is an inch away from the sensor and it just does not work. The sleep timer in the settings no longer has the "never" option like the Quest 2 does so they are both set to 4h for me at the moment. This setting literally does nothing, it is basically useless as the headset still goes into sleep mode, again, when the sensor is an inch off my face (the headset is not fully off my face). 

I don't know what else to do at this point and I am rather disappointed with my purchase, I can't return it either as I have waited too long unfortunately. I feel like it is a waste of money to get the Quest 3 if it can't function the way it is "supposed to" and the controllers drift super easily as well, which makes it hard for me to play certain games. I have spent almost 1000$ on this headset for it to be worse than my Quest 2 which cost me 300$ brand new.

I hope Meta fixes this crap, if not I might as well just sell the headset cause that's all it's good for honestly. I'll just buy another Quest 2.
