lately ive been trying to play some half life alyx on steam vr but for some reason the audio wont work on my computer even after trying factory resets and all solutions i thought of does anyone know exactly what i could do or would this problem be better sent to steam and not quest?

I made a meta quest 2 account and 6 or 7 months later it got suspended and the website tells me to use the email that was sent by meta but I NEVER EVEN GOT AN EMAIL FROM META like what?????!!!!! Anyways I’m trying to get a solution to use my meta quest 2 and find the appeal form for doing absolutely nothing whatsoever 

Meta sent me an email saying my account was reported to have violated their code of conduct and has been restricted. I had given my friend's 11 year old daughter my headset to use for a bit, and she says she only explored worlds and chatted with her friends there. I requested an appeal using the link in the email Meta sent me, and they replied within minutes saying they had reviewed the case again and confirmed I breached their policies so the restriction on my account remains. How do I know what exactly happened so I can avoid another breach in policy? How do I confirm this isnt just someone randomly or maliciously reporting my account for no reason? It is not fair on users for Meta to accuse them of breaching their policies without saying which exact policy was breached or giving evidence such as a screenshot or video recording to support their claim. This seems like a wrongful accusation to me. I only just bought my Meta headset about two months ago and I'm unhappy to be finding mys

so I was playing a game and my oculus 2 shut off at nearly full power then I tried to turn it back on and it turned on but only one eye was showing gray and then it shuts off then I turned it back on and it did the same thing it won't show any logo only one eye is turning on I tried to get the boot menu but it won't let me do that either I can't even do a factory reset cause all it will show is gray in one eye and I'm confused why it's doing this is been a few weeks and still does it today so can you help me on this?

I like being able to tap my controllers to swap to hand tracking. However, for a few updates now, my hand tracking has always automatically swapped whenever my controllers became still, or if I set them down. This is regardless if I have automatic hand tracking disabled or enabled, but only happens if tap controllers to activate hand tracking is active. If I set my controllers down or let my hands stay still for any amount of time it'll switch to hands even mid-game. I've fought against it for many months but with the new, unskippable and long, hand tracking tutorial I feel I have to always have this amazing feature permanently disabled because it's too inconvenient to keep on. I want to say the tap to activate hand tracking is hallucinating them being tapped when I have my hands still, and setting them down also triggers the swap.

hello, i have a quest 1 (i know its old) and i tried to factory reset it after it stopped wanting to connect to my link app (worked 2 times before)  and now i can get all the way to the page were i connect to wifi, then after that my headset gets stuck on update 1 of 2 compleate continue in meta horizon app, and then my phone cant get further than the safety/security page

I did the process to enable Developer Mode but when I returned it still says the below I’ve been trying to do it on the other account but both my accounts are on the same Meta Quest 

Anyone else getting a rash with the standard Quest 3 headset - supplied fabric facial interface?Never had this before with Quest Pro, Pico or Index and have no (known) allergies, and have done nothing to make me sweat so it's not that. Has happened after only a few short uses of the headset, on my forehead and under one eye.

I apologize if this has been posted before. I tried to search for it, but wasn't exactly sure how to word what I am looking for. Hi, I was playing with a group of friends one day and for some reason a system error popped up on my screen and gave me two options to either wait or quit. I pressed wait multiple times but the error kept popping up so I decided to just quit. Ever since that day not only has my mic not been working but also my headset (for example continuing to play audio even though the headset is off. There were times my mic actually worked but then shortly later not work again, and sometimes other players told me they were hearing loud static noises from my mic.Heres all of the stuff I tried:*Turning mic on and off.*See if my mic is having issues in all my games (it does).*Cleaning the inside of my headset.*Factory resetting.If anyone has a solution to this problem I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi,As a company, we created a tour using 3DVista for the Quest 2 for our client. We are using the Meta Horizon management service in individual mode. However, we've encountered a problem that we need some help with.When we launch the 3Dvista application for the first time, a pop-up appears asking for permission to access files. If we grant that permission, the tour loads and works fine. However, when launching the tour a second time, it gets stuck on the loading screen. If we then disable the permission in the settings and re-enable it via the pop-up, the tour works again. So it seems the tour only loads properly when the pop-up appears and permission is explicitly granted. There’s also an option to save the preference so the pop-up doesn’t show again, but even if we disable that setting, the preference still seems to be saved. I've had so many issues with the quest 2 it's crazy. My left controller would only flash fast and not connect so I bought a new one. A day later the headset had purple and pink lines in it until it went black. Couldn't get it straight afer hours on  chat with Meta. So I bought another one 2 days ago. The left controller quit on it and now it's got the pink and purple lines and went black. So I have 2 useless games and a bunch more money in it for nothing. I hope someone knows how to fix them.  I can't see anything on the screens to do anything.  Meta better fix it or I'm done with it! I was boxing both times when they quit.

Is anyone else having trouble with seamless multitasking? I used to be able to play vegas infinite and watch Netflix but now every time I try, Netflix pauses when I try to press A.

Hi,When i start the device it goes to an update, after it is done, it restarts and you see the logo of meta but then it becomes gray. I did all the resets (with charging, without etc. Also did the update tool, after the update tool the update still comes. Also the factory resets do not help (both the one in the quest and through the phone). What more can i do?  The quest 3 is just 8 months old..Can anyone help me?

If you put your VR headset (meta quest 3 works best) on a hard floor, and charge it, theres a chance it might go into recovery mode because of the floor touching the buttons, I do not know if this is the cause, but it could be. It only happens sometimes not all the time for me.

Hi Everyone.Since about two months ago the test users that my company uses to deliver apps to our customers cannot be used to make casting to a pc, because for that logging into horizon.meta.com is required, and that capability aparently have been removed for test users.In comparison, when a normal user (not a test user) is used the logging to horizon.meta.com, and therefore the casting to a pc, can be achieved without problem.The situation has been reported to Meta and their response is that this behaviour is due to the country from which the request is made (Colombia). Hello. I am having trouble accessing my Meta Quest account. Two-factor authentication is enabled on the account and it is linked to my old phone, which I no longer have access to. Because of this, I cannot log into my account on my computer and cannot manage the account settings. However, I still have access to the account on my Meta Quest headset and through Meta Quest Link on my PC where I am logged in, but I am unable to disable two-factor authentication since it still requires confirmation through my old phone. I also cannot find any way to contact real Meta support, as the website only shows help articles and the "Contact Support" button does not appear anywhere. I am asking for advice. Is there any way to disable two-factor authentication if I only have access through the headset and Quest Link? How can I contact actual Meta support in this situation? I bought a quest 3s for prime day for the gorilla tag cardboard hero bundle but I didn’t get a link or email or a promotion or a notification I need help to fix this 

Me and my buddy were already mutually following each other and have played games and called using meta before, however today when we attempted to start a call it wouldn’t work. Neither would messaging. So we unfollowed each other to refollow and now the follow option won’t show up. Any solutions?
