No referral credit

I sent my friend a referral link which she used when she purchased Quests for herself and her son. So far neither of us have received the $30 store credit. How long does it take to show? It’s been about 2 weeks.

    Hey there! I thought I'd put some updated information in this thread. If the referral process is followed exactly according to THIS, then the referral credit should show up for both of you within 7 days of the new user activating their headset.

    If you don't see the credit after 7 days, then MetaStoreHelp will be happy to help you get your credit. Just PM them here or click HERE to submit a support ticket. Hope this helps and thanks for spreading the love of Quest 2!

    It takes 30 days, but my friend that referred me and I haven't received ours and it's been 2 months, I think it's just a scam promotion. 

     

    I wouldn't expect that from a multibillion dollar company, but they just gave  a mother and daughters messenger text over to religious cult looking for witches to burn, so I expect very little from this company.

    Well i did it with my cousin but i referred him and we both got the money on the same day.

      Same problem here.. I followed a referral link and I and my friend couldn't have our credit. Can I have some help? Thanks a lot!

      The worst thing about this is Meta only help you for one time, I got 2 referrals and they tell me they only will help me with one, with the other no. 👎🏻

      Hi, i've sent ref link to my friend, he accepted but none of us got 30$ and i don't have any information in oculus mobile app about that he accepted my link. But when he tried to use my link again he got an error about he activated quest 2 on this account already.

      YEA IVE JUST ACCEPTED IT AS A SCAM CAUSE THEY MADE ME JUMP THEU A BUNCH OF HOOPS AND STOP RESPONDING

        I found out my isssue if the headset is not bought new then you don’t get the credit

        I mean, doesn't anyone over there think this is silly?  I understand wanting some time to verify that the referrals are legit and not some sort of scam or that someone hasn't figured out a way to game the system, but a delay that long doesn't exist in *anything* else anymore.  People can buy houses faster.  This has to be generating more cost in support and community responses than it could save in... fraud prevention?  While I'm in no rush in-particular I also wouldn't be here if I didn't think that maybe something had broken and I needed to follow up on it.  I'm approx 10 days past the referral.  So I'll keep waiting, but I find this delay very very odd and would be interested to understand the reason it is implemented this way.

          Hey there ClownRazer, We see you may be having some issues with some referral credits, we would love to provide some information about this and maybe help you out!

          Could you please double check your referral page in the mobile app? This is where you would redeem credits once the referral has fully gone though for both users. Or it will tell you the current status of the referral. If you think there are issues with the referral, we would love to look into this further, just send us a PM from our Profile page. If the app is showing you should have gotten your credits and you cannot find them, please let us know and we would love to investigate this for you! Just hit us up on PMs from our Profile page.

          Same issue here, I have a message in my notifications that I received the credit but it is nowhere to be found.

          Two of my friends have tried to accept my referral but received an error something like "You may have referred yourself as a referral or you may have already accepted the referral." and after > 1 week I still havent received anything, nor did my friends.

           

          Today my third friend received his Quest 3 and there it worked just fine. His referral was shown immediately in my mobile App, I havent received the credits yet because he didnt set it up yet but my other two friends weren't even shown in the mobile App!

          Created new Meta account with Instagram. Got referral link and claimed it, seen the message about $30 credit. Bought the Quest 3 from Meta.com, order is visible. Logged in to Meta Quest app on iPhone.

          App works, Oculus.com shows my device but not the order, Meta.com shows the order but not the device. Both shows the game I've bought from the store. No $30 credit in the store, probably due to Meta.com not finding my device...
