Hi mackiemeow πŸ™‚

and now it's just stuck with this spinning loop waiting for an update

The  Go received v18.05 in September, 2021, which was the final update.

It don't get updates anymore.

any way i can fix it or try restart the update ?

Maybe after a factory reset, the headset will update correctly?

No garantee though, but setting up a Go was still possible a few months ago.

After doing a factory reset, you're probably not able to pair it with the Horizon app. On Android phones it doesn't work with current version.

The easiest way is using an iphone  - maybe you can borrow one for a few minutes - on iphones the setup works without issues.

On Android phones setting up the Quest 1 only works when you use an older version of the Horizon app.

The solution in the link below decribes what you must do. Unfortunately, the link to the old version doesn't work anymore. I'll put in a link where you can download old versions.πŸ˜‰

The app will tell you to update - you must skip that. Unfortunately, the scaling of the (old) app doesn't fit most phone screens and the continue/skip button is not visible. If that's the case, use a tablet for the setup. Even here the button is only partially visible at the bottom, but you should be able to use it.

212.0.0.2.109 worked some time ago. I'm not sure, if it still does. You might have to try multiple ones. The number gives you at least an idea where to lookπŸ™ƒ

I hope, you get it working. Good luck!🀞
