Hey there, AliChehade. Thank you for providing your feedback on your experience with our PC software. We definitely understand how annoying it can be seeing a constant banner for an issue not effecting your gameplay, and we'd love to look into this further.

With every scenario being different, we ask if you haven't already, to please submit a bug report for our engineers to dig deeper into this. As well, we'd like to have our support team collect your PC logs to take a further look at how our software is communicating with your PC. So that we can review, please send us a PM.

To do so, either select our name to get to our profile page, or click here. Next, click "Send a Message" to privately message us! Also, remember you must be signed in to the community first to send us a private message. We look forward to gathering more details from you!

Hello All,

I have the same issue with an i7 12700KF and 7900XTX. I have been able to band aid it only temporarily by uninstalling and reinstalling the Oculus software which shouldn't have to be the case. I was also having issues getting software updates when I first got the headset a few days ago.

I don't believe this causes any performance issues for me at all. If this is causing any performance issues for anyone else, please let me know. I might be affected and just not know about it. Every game I have played hasn't been visually unplayable or show studders so I'm not sure if the notification even matters at this point.

One thing I really am infuriated about it not having 120Hz in PCVR mode. Absolutely ridiculous to not have this feature as advertised. I do have Sidequest now with 120Hz enabled and can't tell if it's on or not to be honest.

All in all, Meta doesn't care about PCVR because of all the evidence listed above and everyone else having issues. Please fix your software Meta...

Same problem here with a new Zehyrus G14 2024 and RTX 4070 GPU.
I have a serious problem, because I can't work with Unity..

problem here , and META support have been flipping me from one agent to another , and starting over the same point, please send us the log fills, then you never hear back from them and flip you to another agent.

If Meta dose not understand that we are using these equipment for work and not only for gaming , then the customer support team have to be terminated.

I cannot believe the comments that I am seeing here. I wish I saw this before I wasted $650 dollars. My laptop is an ROG Strix G834JY with i9-13980, 32gb RAM, NVIDIA RTX4090 GPU GDDR6 @16gb with HDMI 2.1, Display 1.4 ports. I am also getting the message that "my computer doesn't meet the updated minimum specifications. WHAT!!! If this is true, then I have no choice but to return my headset. This is totally unacceptable, because before I bought the headset, I looked at the requirements on Meta's website and its says that it supports the NVIDIA RTX40 series.

Ryzen 7 5800x3D with Radeon 7900 XTX with 32GB RAM and I'm getting "computer doesn't meet minimum requirements" as well.. what's going on Meta???

Ok so I had an i7 7600K (I think it was) 32 GB of RAM with an RTX 2070 Super. Got it like 10 years ago never saw any requirements errors. That RTX 2070 Super was a work horse and because of that, it still ran VR games pretty good! But I do graphics and 3D animation professionally so it was time to upgrade. I just got a Skytech Eclipse Lite (didn't feel like building a PC this time) literally 2 days ago. It has an Intel i9-14900K with 24 cores running at 3.2GHz able to go up to 5GHz+, 32 GB RAM and an RTX 4070 Super.  Now I don't meet the new minimum system requirements lol. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if it wasn't messing with Oculus Link. I am able to connect through wireless but not with a USB-c cable, I even have the insanely over priced Meta cable.

Pretty amazing that this has been going on since May of 2023 and is still happening. I have bought 4 of there head sets over the years however, this may have to be my last Oculus if they aren't going to support the customers that got them to were they are in the VR market by support and purchasing their products....over and over again.

The most amazing and frustrating thing to me when reading through this thread is that they require that we, the customer, send them logs before they will even look into the problem. Not one of those responces said hey we are looking into the issue however your logos could help speed that up.  I feels like they are saying "yeah sure we could help you but in order to do that you are going to need to put in the work for our engineers so that they don't have to put in to much work to fix it." They are all about equity there at Meta so if an engineer is going to have to spend 5 hours to fix it you need to put in the 5 hours to help them find the problem. lol

It's kinda nuts that this is still happening for so long.  I got my quest 3 today and while setting everything up saw that banner across the top and thought it was stupid since I'd already played some VR titles with no issues.
I have a ryzen 5600x, 7900xtx, 32gb of ram and have no issues playing VR titles.  The meta/oculus software just doesn't understand current parts and defaults to assuming you're running garbage.  This is ridiculous.

I have solved this issue by starting the oculus app and using the oculus tray tool. After opening both of the apps up I usually hit save and restart on the tray tool, which restarts the oculus app and it no longer displays that message. It's a great app, you can also tweak the settings of your quest just like using the debug tool. I also recommend using open xr and messing with the ring sizes and resolution to gain a bunch of performance head room. I also have a 4080s with a 14700k and was struggling for the long st time to get a decent image, and was finally able to get really close to achieving a great image through the quest 3. There's still a bit of aliasing but it looks a lot better then it did originally.

Hi are you using Windows 11?  I see at the Tray Tool site that there have been issues with running it on that OS reported.

Yea I'm on windows 11 pro, I read that there pretty much the same. Just get a few more features on pro. I've been doing research for like the last two weeks man. Just trying to make this damm quest 3 look decent, Overcooking my CPU, GPU, disabling features, downloading new drivers, and finally tweaking open xr, and using the tray tool I was able to get it running pretty smooth and clear at 90fps in iracing.
