The only small issue I've noticed is that after clicking save and restart on the tray tool I sometimes get an error message, but I just click on and click the save and restart button again and it boots the oculus app rite up. I've noticed that the oculus app responds to the tray tools restart command a lot faster then if you were to use the tray tool or just click on the the oculus app icon to start it.

* the oculus debug tool I meant

I do still use the oculus debug tool to see my performance head room, so that I can achieve the best balance between fps and visual quality.

You can ignore this annoying message. I suspect that the SW detects first the CPU's integrated graphics processor before the GPU.

IMHO looks like Meta wants to kill PCVR.

Kinda hard to ignore the message when the headset is basically useless, I bought it to use VR on my PC, it far exceeds the min requirements, the cable tests good, yet I’d doesn’t work

same problem with me

i have rtx 4060

i5 12450H

I don't know about my other components but I know that they can easily support them but I get the same message

What worked for me was downloading the oculus tray tool and pressing the restart button on the tray tool and the message would go away on the oculus app. You may need to check for an update for the oculus app, because after I did an update that message went away after a while.

i think we should hack meta at this point, it's the only way for us to get attention from them !
Just kidding, but for real meta, do something you're software are coded with the ass

I have an Alienware R18 I9 14900, RTX 4090, 64GB RAM and Quest 3 tells me, missing requirements. I have connected it through USB C. Pretty pathetic. It works fine on my desktop, same hardware specs.

This is beyond the pale. Meta is too busy pushing their products, and too focused on profit, to give a **bleep** about supporting their software. Not that Meta reads their forums... or they'd know the specific hardware profile their software wants is pissing off their customer base.

I WAS considering buying one, for virtual sculpting of 3D models, but now I can't see a reason why. I had HOPED they'd do better with their third release. I obviously misplaced my hopes.

I am beyond disappointed I have a new laptop a 4070 graphics. I tried to get meta to help. but they keep not fixing the problem. There is still no solution

Exactly the same problem. Ryzen 9800x3d. RTX 5070 TI. 64 gb ram. etc etc. But nope. reqiurements not met. It even has trouble finding my pc most times. no matter how I try to connect it. And the biggest reason I bought meta quest 3 is to play steam games.  So lame.

Same problem with me but I can’t use link cable at all and air link is very laggy. Been brought from agent to agent emails and emails and just the same loop to a problem they can’t fix.
