[Resolved] - Quest 3 Elite Strap with Battery only connects for a few seconds

Is anyone working on the Quest 3 elite battery issue? It charges but won’t connect to the headset for more than a few seconds, meaning you cannot charge through the back port.

I just received an update to my quest 3 but I dont know if this fixed the elite strap issue because I returned it for a refund. Has anyone else received an update to their quest 3 and tried the elite strap again?

I just checked my Quest 3. It did install a couple app updates, but nothing system related that I can see.

Currently having this issue myself now, worked perfectly fine for 3 days but now it just keeps disconnecting from my Quest 3 after 3-4 seconds.

Tried all the suggested "fixes" also.

When plugged into my phone it'll charge it for 3-4 seconds, stop, reconnect, charge for 3-4 seconds, stop, reconnect like it's stuck in some sort of loop.

I'm not sure whether to replace it or not considering it might be a softwar issue.

Do you guys get the prompt to download an update when powering off constantly? It never installs?

I was getting this for the past couple of days where it would present the toggle option to update when powering off, and when selected it would simply flash quickly and immediately power off seemingly without updating anything. And then it suddenly stopped giving me this option and now I don't see this anymore when powering off.

So food for thought.....Quest 2 had no problem charging while using link...Quest 3 I bought a powered USB cord to try and keep charge while playing wired......Perhaps these 2 are related as both are linked to secondary power devices connected during play time. ..

Also last night, charged the headset and the battery strap separately.....still having the same issue..

Same Problem... the strap is full charged. Show me 3 sec. Extra Batterie is addet and than IT thurns off... 150 Euro Bucks for nothing.. who can i send it back to meta..

Update! I just completed a chat with Meta customer support agent, and after going through all the obvious potential solutions was told "...this is an issue happening with many people. And please be informed that we are looking into this.". So at least there's that.
