Cast not working

Both my iphone and Quest 2 are set to the same wifi, I select cast on my quest and select my app from the menu and on my phone is says it is now casting but I see  nothing.  Anyway to fix this because it's a serious bummer that I can't play with my family with no way for them to see it

Forgot to update this, factory reset is the solution. cloud saves will keep all your game data, but anything modded will be deleted so make sure you back everything up

This solved it for us on our UniFi wireless network. I've seen P2P setting on other routers.

This is the solution that worked for me when nothing else did. I don't completely understand why it worked, but it did the trick!

How do I turn P2P on what even is it I fairly young I’m only 13 so I don’t even know what i need to install to do this

Cast to computer is useless unless you're within your own little private network where you can mess with router settings as much as you want. Otherwise, the feature is the embodiment of uselessness. Please fix this, Oculus. Even Sidequest can pull this off on any network with no issues - we don't understand how you managed to screw this up so badly.

oculus.com/casting works with one of 2 computers all on the same network... ideas? Not trying to do to both simultaneously, just wanting to not have to keep moving the PC into the room, and would prefer to use the laptop. Again, works fine with PC, but not with Laptop - ALL DEVICES ON SAME NETWORK

This is giving me grief.  I've power cycled the router, TV and Quest 2.  Both headset and tv are on the same 5g wifi, with pnp enabled on the router.  When i try to cast, the phone, tv and computer all appear as available options.  Casting to phone and computer work fine, but connecting to the tv keeps showing the same error in the headset "casting/livestream error, there was an error and your steaming has stopped".
Is there any chance the error notification could tell me "hey, you're wearing the wrong color pants while using this" or whatever the problem actually is so i know what to fix?

My father in law his this problem when clicking connect to TV chromecast.

I am curious if it is a version of chromecast that is unsupported or if it is a software bug in the quest 2 side.
