Hey all, I’m trying to figure out how my wife and I can both see the same anchor points in our home through separate headsets. I’m finding online that it’s possible but the settings menus they are telling me to use either don’t exist or were in an older form of the menus before an update. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!!
Meta quest 2 left controller won’t pair, the LED lights up but won’t vibrate..
In fase di configurazione di nuovo dispositivo (Oculus Go) l'app si bvlocca sul video di salute e sicurezza, inpedendo l'avanzamento della configurazione. Chi mi può aiutare?

Hello Meta team,I would like to know if the Meta Neural Band works with the Meta Quest 3 and the upcoming Meta Quest 4.I’m really interested in buying and testing the Ray-Ban Display glasses, but only if the Meta Neural Band is compatible with the Meta Quest.I also saw on Kickstarter an amazing kit called “Fluxpose” that tracks full-body movements Does Meta plan to sell these accessories separately so that the Meta Quest price remains more accessible ?
Hey guys. I have the Quest 3. I use it on my PC for VR racing and I want to connect it to Meta Link. It's been working fine before, but with new updates, it suddenly just stopped working. I tried re-installing the app on my PC, also tried enabling public test channel, but every time I try to add new device it would open another window and when I hit "Continue", it doesn't do anything and it just goes back to Home. Before the re-install, I was able to pick which device I had, but it can't recognize the device as connect even though I can hear the device connecting when the USB is plugged in. Please help. I don't know what else I am missing. TIA.
im trying to install this game but it just tells me to go to meta quest support and it couldnt install. ive tried restarting my headset and computer. does anyone know how to fix this?
Inital Setup Problem:I'm using a Meta Quest 3S headset. I connected it to my computer, the handset devices, etc. I also purchased and downloaded the Premium Bowling application. The application opens and is resident in my library. As I open it, I get a status screen that says the following:Internet Connection ....... Green CheckMeta Login......50%...... Red XServices.sadetta.com.....Red XThe game never connects fully and I'm not sure what to do next. Any thoughts?
For Christ’s sake, you keep popping up annoying confirmation windows asking for Meta access permissions, and then you force one or two shortcut icons onto my desktop! I do not want your shortcut links on my desktop. I have OCPD, and these popups and forced shortcuts are driving me insane! Who the hell are you to keep imposing this on me? Let me choose whether I want these shortcuts, respect my choice, and leave it at that! Stop these constant popups! And stop forcing your Meta/Quest Link shortcut icons onto my PC desktop!
hello i would like to know if steamvr would still work with the meta quest 2 after support ends for itwill i be able to use steam link?will i be able to use air link?will i be able to use a link cable to play steam games?
[Note as of 12/6/2025 - For me, this was fixed by the latest update to the Horizon Link software, and joining the Beta Channel is no longer needed.]The Problem: As of 11/26, I no longer get any audio through my Quest3 headset while I'm connected to my Win11 PC via AirLink. This has worked for me for years, and this is the first time I've had an issue with it. The only change I'm aware of, is that I did a 'Repair' using the Oculus Installer to solve a different issue I was having (a "can't find OculusClient.exe" error). After the Repair (which looked successful), I started having this audio issue. To be clear, audio works fine for me in the headset when I'm not connected over AirLink. Once in AirLink, I get no audio from any desktop Oculus app that I run. I've tested a few. When I leave AirLink, I get local audio in my headset again.Solutions I've Tried: There are a fair number of support threads on this kind of issue here and in Reddit, and I believe I've Googled and found them all. No
Quest 2 controllers keep disconnecting every few seconds, making the headset unusable, and it’s clearly not an isolated issue. Both controllers started failing at the same time, after recent UI/system changes.I’ve already tried:Re-pairing controllersChanging batteriesRebootingFactory reset → worked for ~24 hours, then the issue came backTried sideloading latest OS, but I’m already on v81What’s important:A lot of users are reporting the exact same problem, at the same time: https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/1oywsd8/controllers_keep_disconnecting_what_can_i_do_and/This strongly suggests a recent software update or backend push caused the issue, not hardware failure.I contacted Meta Support, but they keep redirecting to hardware troubleshooting and don’t acknowledge that multiple users are affected.
I had a meta store pin, but it is now not working not too sure why, I have clicked on forgotten and asked for a reset without knowing my original pin but the email will not come through, how will I change it without this email? Can anyone help?
At this point I’m honestly angry about the current Link connectivity issues.I have no idea who on the Meta side has signed off on such an unbelievably buggy PC-Link experience in 2025. And yes, I’m running the latest public drivers, latest Meta software, official Link cable, and a 5090-class laptop. I develop PCVR games for a living.Back in the Oculus era I had zero connectivity issues. Not “less,” not “rarely” - zero. Now? It happens every single time I try to connect. Here’s the routine:I start the Meta Quest app. I plug the official Link cable. I power on the headset. And it always shows “PC not detected.” Every. Single. Time. Then begins the ridiculous dance: unplug, replug, confirm a pointless warning inside the headset, unplug again, replug again… and maybe the connection establishes, or maybe not. It’s completely inconsistent and feels broken at a fundamental level.Next step? Restart the headset. If I’m lucky, the PC connection appears. If not, it’s back to the cable gymnastics. A
I downloaded the Meta Interaction SDK (version 74) and integrated it into the Unreal Engine fork oculus-5.5-v74 from GitHub.The integration works correctly inside the Editor, and VR Preview runs without any issues. However, when I package the project for Quest and install the APK on the headset, the application:launches, shows a black screen for less than a second, then immediately crashes/auto-closes.When I disable the Meta Interaction SDK plugin and rebuild the project, the packaged application works normally on the device. This confirms that the crash is directly caused by the Interaction SDK during runtime on the Quest.what I Have Already VerifiedThe plugin is properly added under /Plugins/runtime/Interaction.Engine fork version matches the Meta SDK version (both v74).No conflicts in Editor logs.No errors during packaging. The crash happens only on device startup, not in VR Preview.Expected BehaviorThe packaged app should run the same way it does inside VR Preview. The Interaction SDK sh
I just purchased the Meta Quest 3S and have been trying to set it up for the past two hours now with no luck. I downloaded Meta Quest Link and am trying to detect the device. It says:Put on your headset and go to Settings > System > Link to enable Link.Except after booting up the device the for the first time, running all the updates, etc., I'm stuck at the "Pair your device with the Meta Horizons app to continue" message.Okay... I don't want to do that, but if I have to, I will. I install the app, log in with my account, and tell the app to detect my device. It doesn't. It just doesn't do anything. I tap the button for all it's worth and nothing's happening.Did I just buy a brick? Why is this like this? Why can't I just scan a QR code in the Meta Quest app with the device and bingo? HOW CAN I GET AROUND THIS SO I CAN ACTUALLY USE MY DEVICE???
Hi everyone,I am reopening this issue because it still happens in 2025.My Quest 3 loses all PC audio when using Link cable. Windows shows “Oculus Virtual Audio Device” and the audio meter moves, but there is no sound in the headset.Cable has been tested by the app and works at full speed. If I use the “Repair” option in the Meta/Oculus PC app, the audio works again. But after a few days, the problem returns and I have to run Repair again. This happens almost every week. This makes the headset annoying to use because repairing the app takes several minutes and should not be necessary for basic audio output. Why this is a problem:-Repairing the app every time: takes several minutes-closes services and restarts the PC app-sometimes resets parts of the configuration-shouldn’t be necessary for such a basic featureWhat I already checked:-Oculus Virtual Audio Device set as default in Windows-Volume and sound device settings are correct-Good USB 3 cable and port-Quest audio works fine in standalo
Hi , I have an issue were my windows 11 system sees my headset and it comes up on the link app as ok. I can run a test on the cable and get good speed. But when I go in my headset set and click the link button it then starts to go to the connection screen with the Meta symbol and the 3 dots and just stays there. I have reset the headset to default reinstalled the link soft ware and it still doing the same thing. It did do an update of the link and the drivers but after it does this it doesn’t work. Just the meta Symbol and the 3 dots. I have tryed 2 cables with the same result. Please help.
Hello, I had the same issue like many people for days and tried many ways to fix it.It seems I was succesful today (or maybe Meta Devs fixed the installer...)The main idea is to copy/paste client.exe in the same folder and rename the copy into OculusClient.exe during the repair of the installation. Here is the fix step by step : Open Uninstall or Modify programs (appwiz.cpl ) in WindowsRight click on Oculus (editor Facebook Technologies, LLC) and select ModifyClick RepairYou will see the full download of the application and the install startsDuring the installation , check the content of the folderC:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-client (or two level higher C:\Program Files\Oculus until support and oculus-client folders appear)When it is there, open it and copy/paste client.exe then rename the copy OculusClient.exeWait for the installation to finish without any error. Meta Quest link application will start and perform updates (I had 7 small ones)Oc

I have done a factory reset on my vr, it was deleted off my app so it’s showing I don’t have a device on my account. I can not get my vr to connect to my wifi because the screen stays black on my vr. I have tried to do a warranty on it but they won’t do anything because it shows I don’t have a device on my account. how can I fix this for my son!? It was a birthday present and he hasn’t been able to use it for over 3 weeks now…
I got today and I don't know how to use vr oculus 3.
Hi, I wanted to try get help from meta support themselves but apparently they don't recognise my devices serial number so that's why I'm posting in the quest forums.I think my cable is at the end of its life and I can't find any official replacements online, I have tried the software-side solutions such as FixMyRiftS.ps1 and uplugging/replugging/off/on/forget my device fixes, I have also made sure it isn't the usb-c adapter as it's connected through displayport and the usb-3 part IS being detected. I have included a screenshot of the meta app. Thanks for any help.Kind regards,Conor
Hello, i just got the quest 3 today and the set up went smooth. However, I have tried connecting 2 different via Bluetooth and after waiting I get an error message. I thought it was maybe an error on the audio so I tried connecting a ps5 controller via Bluetooth to see if it works and I got the same error. I searched on youtube and the pairing process seems so simple and I don't know what im doing wrong. It seems it's an issue with me headset, anyone else had this issue? I've spend most of my day trying to fix this as I need headphones since I live with my family. Any help will be appreciate it.
